Xocolatl Description
We are Xocolatl (sho-koh-lah-tuhl) a small family run Chocolate company based in Quedgeley, Gloucester.
Why the name Xocolatl for our company, well basically the origin of the word chocolate stems from the Nahuatl Aztec word Xocolatl meaning "bitter water”, a much revered chocolate drink of the Mesoamerica region.
We are a husband and wife team, both of us are trained Chefs with a combined experience of nearly sixty years and a real passion for everything Chocolate.
All of our chocolates are handmade in small batches from the finest Belgian couverture chocolate and are free from any artificial flavours, preservatives and colours.

Check out this lot, we've been very busy bees, should hopefully be making its way to the Rococo Garden on Tuesday, Vanilla Fudge, Honey & Thyme Fudge (my favourite), Pure Dark Fudge and White Choc and Cranberry Fudge, all made with the finest Belgian Couverture Chocolate and all free from artificial flavourings and colourings, still naughty but nice!.
