Yabba Description
Yabba started over 23 years ago as a hobby.
Stephanie first got the idea of making her own Caribbean pickles, sauces and preserves while taking a tour of a craft fair during a quiet spell at her mother's stall.
Stephanie saw jams, chutneys and preserves galore but noticed a gap in the market for traditional chilled Jamaican food, Jerk Seasoning, Chutneys, Hot Pepper Sauces, Caribbean Fruit Rum Cake and Sorrel drink. She has gone from strength to strength by reaching the public through Farmers Markets, Craft Fairs and Food and Drink Events.
People Behind Yabba
Stephanie Brown was born in Kingston, Jamaica and moved to England when she was seven. She was raised in Armthorpe, Doncaster and now lives in Sheffield.
A real taste of good food has always been part of Stephanie's upbringing, the products featured on the Yabba website have been passed down from Stephanie's mother and are moulded from happy memories of childhood and good times with family and friends.
