What is a Lightsheer laser?
Lightsheer is a means of permanently reducing and removing hair by the use of a laser. As the Lightsheer Laser uses varying length pulses it can be used safely on any type of skin or hair preventing the chance of in growing hairs. This laser also has the capability of being able to treat leg veins that are too small to be removed by sclerotherapy or by being injected after being cleared by the American Food and Drug Administration.
How does the laser work?
The laser uses a near-infrared beam that goes directly into the pigment in the shaft of the hair and the follicle. The follicle is then damaged by using a pulse that is timed for part of a second. This in turn destroys a lot of the follicles and slows the re-growth of the hair in any that survive. This makes the treatment a great improvement to electrolysis where only one follicle at a time is treated.
