Thursday Nights are the New Friday Nights apparently...

We’ve just done a cocktail masterclass with Katie for my best friends hen do, wow!! What night, fantastic, Katie was an amazing host, fab time had been all, thanks Katie ����

We had booked a table for a birthday which somehow had not happened! However. We were then given a lovely table. They rushed to blow up some balloons. They put bowls of sweets on the table and gave us a bottle of prosecco. All the food was lovely. I don't know if you usually get things for a birthday party or not. But forgiving the original error. They could not do enough for us! I really appreciated it as it was my daughters birthday. Will definitely go back

Not from Doncaster and hadn't planned my visit at all, we were starving and this was the first decent looking place that we found. The service was great and the food was lovely, and really quick. Amazing value for money, loved the two for one cocktails they definitely went down a treat � would definitely come back if I'm ever in Doncaster again

Just popped in for cocktails and a snack! There was a hen do in and it was very busy serving them but didn't take long. Food came out quickly and cocktails are pricey but are BOGOF so doesn't matter!



One of the better venues in Donny!

I usually visits Yates for lunch on Tuesdays and Fridays... It's a new venue, therefore it's still building it's clientele. There's usually a 15-20 minute for the food but it is well worth the short wait.

It is a very nice place, the staff are very good and the place is always pristine... I usually have the pollock chips and peas for £3.25 which is very nice but you can upgrade to cod for an extra £1. The chicken tikka on Tuesdays is very nice and at £3.25 a real bargain.

Had a great night in Yates bar last night, making cocktails, great fun, good food after included in the package. A big thank you to Paige and Devon who made my friends 50th birthday special xxx

Booked a cocktail masterclass for 6 people for my mum's hen do. I don't think it's possible to give Megan, the bartender/teacher/bodyguard � enough credit for how amazing she was. She deserves a pay rise! Would recommend this to anybody and everybody. For the price it is definitely worth it. Thank you Megan, I hope this message gets back to you x

Last night we won a huge sharing cocktail, sweets, balloons and two bottles of champagne to share with my friends! It was my friends birthday so it really made it extra special for her and the customer service was amazing <3

Absolutely beautiful food. The only down side was not all our food was served at the same time. Some was eating and some was still waiting but the food was amazing and the customer service was great.

Lovely atmosphere great karaoke � food ok but not the best

Very dissapointed to be told we wouldnt be served food as they had a party in .we are regular customers who dine there very week. Not good policy home bar to turn regulars away for once a year partygoers. Weatherspoons next week i think shame on you home bar.

I wasn't impressed last night. Was my first time in here since whatever it was called before... I ordered the refresher cocktail twice in a row and they were completely different colours, in different glasses and tasted nothing alike. I mentioned that it is different to the one I'd just had and showed a picture of what it looked like because I'd put it on my snapchat. I was told by the guy that served me that the one I'd had before isn't how you make it and another member of staff confirmed this. So I went to sit down and have the drink made the 'right way' and it was awful compared to the first one. I advise that the staff are trained to be consistent because they tasted like completely different drinks x

I normally come to Yates in the week for food and cocktails and it's always been lovely! I recommend for me and my friends to eat here yesterday and it went down hill from there ordered cheese burger and 2 chicken burger meals got our drinks and sat down when food came they only brought out the 2 chicken burgers 10 minutes later when my friends where half way through there meal I decided to ask at the bar where mine was they said they hadn't put it through and they'll get it cooked now, by the time my friends finished there meal it finally came out... a chicken burger, I ordered cheese burger I explained to them. In the end I just said I'll have the chicken burger as I didn't want to wait any longer and they had finished. Didn't really enjoy the meal. disappointing.

First time ate there for lunch since it open last month. Foods and furniture was great. Two things is when I upstairs, I could not find toilet as it grey door with very light blue writing and at the bar, the wood cover up the price on machine so we can't see the price as we are deaf. It need show the prices

Not great... ordered drinks was given a glass with lipstick on.. that I can forgive. However the food was not the best at all. Ordered a Medium Rare mixed grill, Gammon steak and some nacho cheese bites. The gammon was so salty and my partner couldn't eat it. The mixed grill was more medium well that medium rare. The cheese nachos bites were just like mush they were greasy and uneatable. Don't think we will back here.

Alright atmosphere terrible cocktails! Sorry Yates but please train up the staff -

To the useless general manager. Who do you think you are pushing someone from the bar and saying and I quote “your nothing special” who do you think you are? I wouldn’t mind but when your staff morale is low due (quiet clearly) to you coming in as manager it’s screaming failing manager to me. Probably going to be barred for this but hey at least my honest opinion has been shown.

And then to top the night off when the manager of the venue comes up to you saying I’ve lost six stone thanks for brining this up clearly is a toxic man of a human just trying to cause issues in the venue.
