Thanks to the staff at Yates Sheffield that helped organise or worked on our ‘gathering’ on Saturday for my husbands 40th Birthday. We had the upstairs area cordoned off and were very impressed overall and will definitely be back in future if we need a similar venue again.

Thank you for reserving our table today before the pantomime and the decorations were an added bonus service and food was brilliant x

Quite simply the best Xmas meal ever!Dean the event manager went to great lengths to ensure our evening was perfect,and the food was outstanding.our party of ten all agreed it couldn't be faulted.

Quiet honestly I wouldn't go in here last year..but now it's had a refurb nice and friendly place to be.all our friends come in now.we go in every Thursday afternoon the staff are always helpful and the food is good.i recommend the mixed grill and the double burger.washed down with a £2.25 Doombar...and after 8pm Thursday it's £1.50 drink's.

I go here every Monday and have done for the last 3 months for the Monday melt but since that’s not on anymore I go for the hunter fries which are to die for.. also go on a Thursday night if I’m out with friends staff really friendly and food and drinks always spot on ���

Booked cocktail masterclass for step daughters 18th Birthday. Charlotte & Dean were fantastic hosts throughout the evening and everyone had a fab time. We would definitely recommend.

Ate here with my son yesterday. He had fish and chips and I had the mighty stack burger. Arrived around 4pm, only had to wait around 15mins for food. Cooked properly and tasty.

Went in last night really enjoyed it the staff were great and will be calling soon

I pop in to yates regular with friends and family for a few drinks and food and never had any issues food is always nice beer is always cold so I'm happy.

I enjoy my meal. Perfect gammon not salted. I notice my friends had steak and chicken are lovely but really small jackets.

Got dragged round town centre "shopping" I suggested we had tea while we were out...food, quantity and quality was spot on..staff friendly and polite...prices were very reasonable...a couple of very happy football fans about who were a bit loud but it was a Saturday afternoon...

Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Took threr attempts to get our order right (2 burgers with sweet potato fries...) But staff were polite and offered refund

The staff was fairly polite. I swopped my mushroom and tomato from my english breakfast to toast, it didnt come out with my breakfast. I asked them about it and i had to wait an extra 15mins for my toast, it looked like bread& it was cold. The prices are good and the food is good too, just a general mess up

It was very busy, when I visited with my two daughters. We ordered food which was very nice. Had to wait a while, but we're told of the wait. Tables needed cleaning.

Fairly decent pub Sunday roast. Catered for the kids too. No great shakes, but I'd go again. The staff were friendly enough

Bar person needs to learn difference between pear and apple cider. My husband asked for pear cider twice and was served apple. As the place was heaving we didn't take it back, bar people need better training.

4.40 for a dark strongbow dark fruit is a bit much don't you think..



Plus the place was rammed and it was only 10pm..

Whilst shopping we called in for a Sunday roast (Inc of a drink)...no beef left but happy to have the chicken. However it was all disappointingly dry but we were so hungry we ate it all. Won't bother giving it a second try.

Was having a really good evening until the door staff assaulted me for preventing an assault from taking place. Not only did this draw the attention of the police (with whome i am leaving a statement) the door man then decided to send a friend out of yates to threaten me because i had taken a photo of his SIA badge.



Before you think i was drunk..... i was ordering pints of coke from the bar.

I ordered steak it's was burnt.. my partner ordered chicken dinner.. if we hadn't of paid we wouldn't of ate it disgusting.. staff very rude

Hi just in Yates Sheffield and your manager has tried serving me a single yates wine for price of a double... didn't ask her name as she seemed quite abrupt ...very poor service as she then continued to ask me to leave when i said it didn't matter and then asked for a lager and lime instead....a double yates wine is 100ml and not 50ml....come on Yates sort your staff out!!!

Had lunch here today and to be quite honest it was awful. Had what was supposed to be a smothered 8oz Rump steak.

1. Never been a Rump steak and must have been the smallest 8oz steak ever - I know my steaks and this was not a Rump (cheap cut)



2. Asked for it to be cooked rare - it came cooked through and quite well done and dry at the edges - also very fatty, had to actually spit out chunks of fat into my serviette - twice!! as well as leave a lot on the plate.



3. The fries that accompanied it were mostly hard pointed end bits of the potato which were more like scraps.



4. Food not served hot enough



£9.95 - sounds reasonable?? NO - would have felt ripped off paying £4.95 for this garbage.



Because I was eating out with others I didn't want to spoil the day for everyone by complaining. I should have though because this was the worst meal out I've had for a very long time - well pissed off!!
