Our pairing of the month: crispy sweet and tender squid, coated in oatmeal and fragrant pandan leaf and dusted with dried chillies, is the perfect accompaniment to Mai-Shin, a unique drink to Hakkasan Group.
The savoury flavours of fried chilli complements the creamy texture and sweet notes in Mattari, one version of Mai-Shin

“When you think of your favourite restaurant, it’s often the details that make you smile. Every element of the room is considered, designed, styled so as to heighten the experience. After all, the food on your plate is just the start.”

“The unique culinary tradition of dim sum began thousands of years ago along the ancient Silk Road. Teahouses opened up alongside the roadside, offering tea and bite sized snacks to weary travellers.”

Szechuan cuisine is widely recognised for big, bold flavours and the numbing spiciness from liberal use of floral, aromatic Szechuan peppercorns, garlic and chilli.
Our Szechuan spicy wontons and filled with juicy, tender pork and served in a spicy, fragrant broth.

User

The perfect Soho dinner for daughters 18th. Really buzzy with clubby decor and music downstairs (but not too much so for Dad!). Great service, fab food. Thank you Yauatch. DP

User

Superb restaurant. Dumplings are absolutely delicious!

Great variety on other mains! One of my favorites in London!

User

Probably the best dim sum in the world, and definitely my favorite restaurant, whenever I’m in London I pay them a visit, highly recommended

User

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been in... kind welcoming staff that will do anything to make the experience a memorable one. Food was out of this world! Based on the amount we eat I would say it was great value for money. If you’re in London Personally avoid the tourist traps of China town and head straight for Yauatcha!!

User

Having lived in Asia for many years I was yearning for good dim sum . Yauatcha did not disappoint . We had the taste of Yauatcha menu . Delicious , beautifully presented as well . Highly recommend

User

Have just visited, meal for two, absolutely amazing food, service was second to none, staff so helpful and explanatory of dishes, best birthday meal I've had!!!

User

Great food, service and atmosphere 👌🏻

User

Go there yearly and have been for about 10 years. We like going there for lunch after strolling around London/Soho. Incredibly the consistency of the food remains! You can’t say that of many restaurants. We love the food, including the beautiful deserts, not to mention the iced teas!

User

Fantastic hot and sour soup and dim

Sum - very attentive staff and excellent choice on menu. Had rib eye beef in black bean which melted in mouth - highly recommend

User

Fabulous food and the service was very good. Would definitely recommend it.

User

Dim-sum from Heaven. The venison puff is out of this world, and the desserts like in Parisian patisserie.

User

Big celebration for five people . I love this restaurant it is exceptionally well staffed and even when maniacally busy the service is ultra professional and attentive . There are staff zipping about everywhere and despite the fact that we had twenty ( yes twenty ) plates coming to our table there was not a single error or delay . Drinks were also regularly checked and reordered .

The food is beautiful .

The one thing Yuautcha could consider is labelling the dim sum ... it’s impossible to work them all out on a crowded table and we had three novices and two non meat eaters at ours so it was a bit of a gamble

BUT the food is so good and even our youngest guest who was way out of his comfort zone was bowled over by the beef in black bean .

Look around , the demographic tells you all

Families with really little children , different ethnic backgrounds , ages etc . It’s buzzy and hip but not a hint of snobbery even though some wine prices are eye watering .

Dim sum

Can’t get enough of the prawn and tofu

What they do with mushrooms is miraculous

Presentation is just beautiful

So

Much fun to be had tasting and sharing

We didn’t do dessert but the display is a work of art . This place has got it right

They’ve captured a wide market with top end food that isn’t too “ out there “ .

The staff and their team work are absolutely top class .

Cocktails are fabulous too

Love it

Being from NY there is no shortage of great food where I live. This place was OUTSTANDING!!! My best tip would be to surrender all of your ordering to the waiter. The staff fed me perfectly! I would definitely come here again on my next visit to London.

User

A good choice if you like Cantonese dim sum in a French cuisine style presentation

User

Great food and service. However, it's the most uncomfortable restaurant I have ever eaten in. Strange low seats (for no reason at all) with one side of seat missing (this is deliberate). I will go back when I can sit in a comfortable position.

User

Food was divine, however delay in bringing dim sum( for 2) and separate order for myself at same time resulted in guests finishing their food before I received my order.

We clearly explained the above when first ordered, customer service response was less than satisfactory, bordering on dismissive!!!

User

Worst meal our week in London. Will never go back and do not recommend. Food was like something you might get on an airline flight.
