We had the most magical wedding day at Ye Olde Plough House, the staff couldn't do enough for us and made our every dream come true!



We had Steve from A1 Discos for the music during the meal and the evening and he was fantastic! He read the room so well and gave out guests exactly what they wanted to dance the night away, thanks Steve for an amazing evening

We had our wedding here on the 25/11/17 beautiful place, our guests all said how nice it was decorated. Everything ran smoothly and the staff were great always around and happy to help.

The grounds are fantastic for wedding photos we were lucky to have a dry sunny day! The kids loved the snow machine which looked brilliant in the photos.



We stayed in the modern wedding suite which was fantastic, breakfast was also nice.

We had our wedding here on 28.12.17. The staff were amazing from start to finish. Everyone commented on how wonderful the bar and waiting staff were and how brilliant the food was. All 90 meals came out hot! Thank you for helping us have such an amazing day!

We had our wedding here last Friday 23/03/18. I can't thank all the staff at the plough house enough, you were all a delight and made our day really special. The whole day went without a hitch (pardon the pun) and the venue looked amazing. We had our daughters wedding here on 26th May. The staff were extremely helpful right from the day we booked over a year ago. On the day all the staff worked very hard to help make the day run smoothly and perfectly. The grounds are absolutely stunning and everyone commented on the frog chorus loved it. We had our Wedding here on Sunday 23rd July 2017 and it was absolutely amazing. We would like to thank all the staff for there hospitality and hard work to make our day run as smoothly as it can. Although the weather app said we had rain at 3:00 it held off for us so we could have our ceremony outside and photos on the stunning grounds. The food was amazing and everyone had a lovely day!

Our son and daughter in law married here 29/12/2017, we all had an amazing time! Can't fault anything, very attentive staff, beautiful decorations, food was really tasty. Our room was large and comfortable. Thank you so much for for helping make the day so fantastic!

One week ago today my (now) husband and I got married at this absolutely amazing venue. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the most perfect day. The food, the venue, the atmosphere was world class and we would recommend anyone looking for an amazing venue to not look any further.



We also took the recommendation of using Chris - Solar Discos, who works with the venue and he was fantastic. We opted for the additional services he offers too and can't recommend him enough. He had our guests up dancing right till the final song.



James and I would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the most magical of days. One we will never forget.

One of my favourite venues for weddings! I've photographed here and set up floral displays on several occasions and I can't fault anything.

The grounds are stunning for wedding photos as are the barns and ceremony room are equally as beautiful. The wedding meals that I've had whilst working there have always been lovely as well, can't wait to be back at this venue. Holly - Pictures and Petals Ltd

My daughter Ava and son inlaw Jamie had their wedding reception in the Monks barn on 15th July 2017.

All I can say is wow truly couldn't of asked for anything more. From reception to waiting staff what a professional set up.

I'm so so sorry I can't remember the lady in charges name but she was on hand all day from the morning till the end of the night.

I have to say the waiting staff were young but don't let that take anythin away from them. All day they was running about after all our guests nothing but nothing was much trouble.

If I had the day all over again I wouldn't have changed a thing. I just can't thank you and your staff for making this the fabulous day it was. We had family travelling from all over the world. Every one had the same thing to say beautiful venue and everything all day just flowed.

The chef done us proud the meal was spot on, again everyone said what a well prepared and presented meal.



Please pass on our thanks to all the staff from the booking and planning of the wedding right up to the day.

Had our wedding here on 22/12/17 the staff and wedding planners amazing all our guests impressed with the venue. unfortunately my bouquet went missing from the cake table I’m hoping it will be returned as was very sentimental to me something I’ll never be able to replace. to future brides dedicate someone to watch your items I’m hoping for cctv footage for outcome

Had my 50th birthday party at Ye Olde Plough House on 23rd June 2018. What a fantastic night. The staff at the venue were all excellent, everything went better than planned. A1 Discos sorted out the music on the night for us. Massive thanks to Jay for his DJ skills. The music was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for Jay to sort out...even managed to play some music off of our phones for us. I would highly recommend both the venue and A1 discos...massive thanks to everyone for making the night so special for me and my guests.

Had a joint Mother’s day/80th birthday celebration there. It was amazing. 21 heads to serve at once, nothing too much trouble, food lovely, service excellent. We have my daughters wedding there in December & are now more convinced we’ve chosen the right venue.

We got married here on the 14th May 2017 and although we had a few problems/issues we still had a wonderful day. The venue and grounds its self are beautiful and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only down side/issues we had (apart from our DJ who was recommended by Ye Olde Plough who almost ruined our whole wedding �) was our sit down wedding breakfast tasted nothing like it did when we had our taster day and even though we had provided the chef/staff with a list of menu choices of who wanted what meal and we printed our guests individual menu cards for the tables they still served a few people (including the mother of the groom) the wrong food and there was only 2 packets of sugar and 1 small carton of milk in our bridal suit so only 1 of us could have a hot drink in our room when we woke up the morning after our wedding, but saying all that we are still very pleased that we chose this beautiful place to tie the knot.

Visited for Mother’s Day, mainly because we had been before are really liked not only the food but the atmosphere! Unfortunately not as great today! Being a vegetarian there is not much choice so I opted for the veggie roast, very bland and not much to it, not one of the best roast dinners I have had! They need to maybe add a few more options.

This should have been an 80s dinner night.

However the DJ didn't really play anything pre 1987 and then played 3 songs by Queen from the late 70s and a Madness song from the same decade. Very poor knowledge from a DJ.



The Dinner was so small I thought it was going to evaporate. The menu clearly indicates sausage wrapped in Bacon, don't be fooled by these shoe string budget merchants, the claim that the sausage is in the stuffing, well if that is so why wasn't it wrapped in Bacon?



The staff are like robots, trained like chimps, but the service is very efficient.

It was also a night where most the girls thought it was appropriate to wear nothing, I was under the impression you had to look smart, these so called ladies lowered the tone by showing nothing left to the imagination.
