User

I loved this place, proper oldie worldie! I'm in a wheelchair and the guy behind the bar couldn't have been more helpful! Lovely food battered cod was beautiful. Thank you for such a warm welcome guys

Having eaten there before, we knew the food would be good and we weren't disappointed. The staff were all very pleasant. Would recommend to anyone visiting Hastings.

User

Great pub with plenty of 📺 to watch the footy or rugby. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that they only have Strongbow on draught. Quite surprised as there are loads of Sussex Ciders on the market...A great atmosphere in there yesterday despite the fact Ireland beat us in the 6nations!

User

Great food and good service 👍🏻

User

Food was lovely this was our 2nd visit both visits were were very nice had to wait for 45 minutes for our food but we wasn't in a hurry so didn't matter to us we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hastings

User

Been here a few times and I love it (I'm a big fan of Shepherd Neame beers). The look of the place is very pleasing on the eye, and of course the beers on offer are of the highest standard. My only gripe, and reason for not giving 5 stars on my visit yesterday, is that my pie was a bit disappointing. I had the beef and ale pie. It was not great. The meat was tough with lots of gristle and was served in what can only be described as a tasteless flakey pastry sandwich.

User

Very nice querky pub designed in the fifties. Food was good but it came out cold ish but tasted nice so couldn't be bothered to change it.

User

It was okay. I fancied the roast but no chicken on the menu. Had cajun chicken instead. It was okay. Our 9 year old had to wait for a time after mybhusband and I got our meals and her pudding was also forgotten even after they were reminded. Shame as venue looked so nice but it was some time before peoples tables were cleared after theyd left.
