Ye Olde Punch Bowl Inn, Shropshire - Lovely Place and First Class Carvery too! And as we used to own an AGA (named Bertha!) it was great seeing one again complete with all it's original AGA dishes! Staff were very friendly and helpful! We really didn't think we would be able to clear our plates but we did! The food was just delicious and all home made recipes too! Thank you all very much! xxx

Well I don’t know how to even start this review really I can not recommend this venue enough for weddings party’s food in general it was great myself and my partner have been dealing with Adam and Charlotte for a while now since booking our wedding and from day 1 until checking out this morning they have all been superb!! All the team have worked so hard for our big day to go smoothly and nothing was to much trouble for any of them! I’ve even made a friend in Charlotte and Adam I felt at ease with both and felt I’d known them years the food on the day was fantastic complemented by all friends and family and the night doo was just as good anyone thinking of getting married or planing an event this is the perfect place to have it thank you all at the Punch Bowl will be visiting again very soon you haven’t got rid of me that easy! �

We thought it was amazing myself and my mom and friends won an easter competition for 8 thought it was a top class meal totally enjoyed it. I would highly rate the carvery top class they did say there was a bottle of house wine included in the prize win but that wasn't on the table but that aside the meal top class definitely would go back here stunning views. Oh my word couldn't rate this place high enough

Myself and my son had been out round bridgnorth and popped into your place hoping to get a meal. The staff were so friendly and helpful and carried our drinks to the table as I walk with sticks. The place was stunning inside and the food was beautiful. My son asked for chicken little did he realise it was turkey later on. The staff didn't correct him which was lovely. He ate the lot on his plate and said it was the best he's ever tasted.

On our way out we walked to the back to discover the hidden beauty. I am definitely coming back. Thank you x

Just been a carvery for 4. Sat in what I can only assume to be the function room with a beautiful view of the new outside bar and pond. The food was top notch with a wide range of meat and your standard veg, as well plenty of extras, including some lush pulled pork. The staff were really friendly and eager to help. Overall a lovely experience. Would 10/10 come again. X

I've wanted to go here for so long so my partner took myself and 3 of our girls here last night... I've got to say it was bloody fantastic, we all had 2 courses... a main and pudding, omg the carvery was the best I've tried and we have been to a lot of different places but by far this place beats them all... I myself had to try everything they had for the carvery as looked yummy and I have to say everything tasted perfect!! Defanitly complements to the chef!! All 5 of us we're so happy and really did enjoy all the food... I really can't wait to come back and bring our other children as know they will love it too... also have to say all the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I must say i was worried when we 1st pulled up as we was all in tracksuits so felt under dressed but you know what It didn't make a difference... we was given the same respect and kindness as everyone in there... Also i think all the history you have wrote in your menu is a brilliant touch.... Thank you to everyone who works here we loved it and will be recommending you to everyone!!! Xx

Had an absolutely delicious meal here tonight. The staff were really welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. There is a lovely cosy atmosphere and the food is to die for. We will most definitely be returning :)

Very unimpressed.No service fetch everything yourself.

Chefs pie would have been great without the excess SALT.Complained and no offer to change the meal for the carvery just ill tell the chef.

At the carvery wife had to wait until the carver fancied serving her

Didn’t rate it at all! We visited for Sunday dinner few weeks ago with the grand parents. Service was rubbish, very rushed and we was then seated and stuck in the corner with x2 elderly which was difficult when going up to the carvery to stand and que. Then walking all the way to the table with my grandad on 1 arm and me nan on my partners arm. To make matters worse the beer was flat as a pancake after ordering and paying for a pint of Perroni I then took it back and was given fosters with no apology or refund in the difference. Carvery was ok nothing special was very disappointed after hearing good things about the place. 45 minute journey there not worth the travel for the experience we had!
