Steak is recommended and I love the cosy atmosphere with the open fire.
O yes just finished 16 once rump and Mrs C had fillet steak, obsolotly fabulous meal, will visit again, cooked to perfection

Lovely 500 year old pub, staff and managers very friendly and helpful. They make you ever so welcome. Bedroom quaint and comfortable, excellent food! :-) Will be going back there in October, recommended! Right in the town centre and the river Avon is a 10 min walk away. LOVED IT! :-)
If you want a traditional pub atmosphere....look no further!
Great welcome, good range of beers, great atmosphere with the locals, we had a good comfortable stay, ceilings and door ways challenging, if you're over 6ft tall very challenging. But what do you expect from a building hundreds of years old. Prime location on end of main street stones throw from beautiful river walk or boat ride, plenty of shops for shopping, very friendly staff at the old red horse, great english breakfast served, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend there and definatley be returning this pub is highly recomended i will give it 5*

Friendly staff could be more helpful and welcoming. Lunchtime specials excellent value. I'm told steak night is good. Will definitely be going back again
Excellent old Inn. . stayed earlier in the year. . very helpful and welcoming staff. . great landlord and food.. especially the breakfasts !!
Decent boozer nice place to stop off if in the area.
