Went yesterday had a lovely walk with my husband a beautiful day we stopped for a fish player to share and a portion of chips food was lovely . Very oldey worldly lovely staff had a lovely day

This is my Dad's 'local' when he's staying in Burnham on Crouch. Lovely atmosphere. Cosy. Food's good too.

Lunch not quite as good as usual. Nearly always have the skate. Just wasn’t as tasty this time. And veggies a tad over cooked. New chef? But still our favourite watering hole in Burnham. Can’t beat sitting out on the deck and staff are great. Would be nice to have home made salad dressing (not sachets) and black pepper and sea salt on tables.

Lovely looking pub along seafront of Burnham. Staff were really friendly and it was very clean. It's a very old worldy pub. However, the menu is quite dated and although the food was nice and fresh it was very '1970's' in it's content and presentation, but it was a gorgeous day out in Burnham

On a lovely stroll out with the family today, husband and I made the decision to stop off for a drink in the sunshine outside. Hubbie asked inside bar if serving food, and obviously they had just finished serving at 14.52 which is fair enough so wouldn't recommend for all day food on a Sunday. Sort of expected as limited. We decided to purchase more soft drinks whereby hubbie was accompanied by youngest son age 6, the 2 stars go to the lovely bar staff for being friendly. Shame about the woman who appeared from out of knowhere who immediately pointed out that son was not to sit at the bar (for 2 minutes mind you) wasn't doing any harm, making any noise or being a nuisance. Spoilt the mood as was rude and unnecessary. No wonder the bar was empty! After this, we decided to drink up and leave. So not family friendly. Wouldn't recommend and would never go back. Will happily walk on by next time we are in the area.
