This is the view when having a smoke, everyday (except in winter, when the rooftops are snow-white). West-facing sunsets over London in the heart of South Kensignton, a 3-bedroom Victorian townhouse in village of Gloucester Road SW7.
A Yeang Creative product, it was subjected to a modernisation refurbishment over 28months between 2010-2012.
Due to tax-structuring issues, it will be on the market in September 2019. Offers would be considered from now onwards.

How does one write A Design Brief for a brand-new Revival ‘Gentlemans’ Racer’ Supercar ?
Sketch it. Instinct. Infatuation.
1st Order above all else: Drop-Dead Gorgeous. That it runs 10,000rpm, inconel exhausts, 3D-sculpted body, chassis architecture-amortisation is secondary. Oh yes, pure Petrol as well.
... Looking back in time firstly at the all important Brands’ Provenance and 1958 F1-Racing lineage alongside voluptuous AM-DBR1, Ferrari P3/4; Simultaneously look forward at the advanced geometry (GTR Concept Vision 2020, Porsche 919LMP1 Evo). Then the mid-engine layout of the Huracan Performante donor car and proportion lock-ins.
Simplify to spotlight One memorable Conceptual-Move: “ChromeHeart” : CNC Sterling Silver Throttle-Body intakes, Ceramic-Manifold for the V10 and said Inconel exhaust, glowing translucent when spanked screaming at its 10k redline.
At Yeang Creative, we love all things Design & we absolutely boyishly love cars. Just the idea of Designing Cars gives us the goosebumps.

maybe you would like to know how much does it cost, how long does it take and if planning permission is required to install a rain-shower+vertical jacuzzi unit like this ? We could help you make informed decisions....

Waterbourne-villa’s interior. House or boat?

User

This is an artistic impression of the nomadic self-piloted ‘waterbourne villa’; eco features are a given as is self-sustainability.

This is a sketch study for an ‘offshore marina’ for a waterborne nomad-resort concept. Seaplane access as well as individual waterborne-villas which are self-piloted. Fish and vegetable farming, hydro-tidal as well as pizel power production and low-E portable water desalination features attenpt this 1000 days at sea ambition.

minimax!
All we did to this small but vitally desirable outdoor terrace was to paint the existing bleached-out timber floor white and the existing rails a Matt anthracite. So satisfying when the result looks more than the cost!

Not everything modern is necessary.
The old solid oak cabinets were carefully removed and refused for this very compact family kitchen. New Corian (I just love the way this surface diffuses reflected light..) tops were made to tie the bits as one, a glossy backsplash added for ease of cleaning and a bit of the glamour factor and concealed warm LED striplights for accent.
New wall-hanging oak cabinets (you can see from the colour difference?) were added to increase storage v...ertically.
That brightness coming in is from laying a 3-sided mirror into the recessed cavity that was once a small window to the outside; a ‘light-tube’ to channel and further project natural sunlight (when it available in London) into the kitchen interior.

Go for Drama.
A Curation approach was employed to furnish and fit-out this bachelor pad in Kensington; as a museum curator would select and place art and precious artefacts. This means that there was never anything like it before and there would be nothing like it again. Bespoke soul.
One of a kind.
... An original chesterfield cigar chair sits 45cm in front of an Afghan cabinet made of old bits of furniture recomposed on a new panel providing texture. A rusted steel pedestal supports a green fuzzy plant softening the ambience while the matt anthracite wall just makes everything pop out.
Drama. Passion. Curation.

Light and Shadow.
In this before and after shot of a refurb. project done for a family house in Kensington, the family bathroom was created with light manipulation in mind.
Large pieces of limestone, honed and impregnated, augment the sense of space as well as softening the sunlight flooding in. Orientation of sanitary fittings to the periphery of the room allows natural light to bounce off the floor and onto the walls and ceiling, which continue the diffused-reflection effe...ct. The mirrored vanity cupboard effectively ‘doubles’ the window aperture while keeping clutter out of sight. The custom Corian top and sink just gives off this cool dreamy feel to light caught on this much used horizontal surface.
Simple but effective, don’t you think?

i love this loft conversion for a top floor flat in Kensington, just oozing cool...
Scored a raw marionette, procured the loft space, amalgamated title deeds and went to work: inserted steel beams, restored the 200-year old joists, underfloor heated, reduced the roof insulation thickness from 200mm to 50mm and liberated an extra 400sqft or £480,000.
The supercoolness we get for free. Just look at the open-planned in-situ 4-person bath!
... Sold.

A before and after. A Victorian townhouse in South Kensington with a small 30’ garden, re-imagined as a a traveller that has no destination...

there’s nothing quite like carving lines through space is it?
