You are cordially invited to a free demonstration by Paul Davis (MFHT) of Spiritual Thai At Yeha Noha, Café & Bar, 19-21 Station Road, London SE25 5AH
Sunday 10th February 2019, 1pm
... Paul will be performing a variety of basic techniques used in his useful modality of body therapy, whilst debunking the popular myth that ‘all Thai Massage is deep’ or “intense” and explaining how various approaches to treatment can enhance exercise; Soften tense, bound body tissue; Help to alleviate low morale, emotional stress and aid flexibility. He will also invite those present to indulge in a short taster session! Paul’s training is in Traditional, floor (mat)-based Thai bodywork, with patients fully clothed.
As usual with Paul, expect some humour, some ‘out there’ commentary and a simple yet thought provoking analysis of his art.

Come and experience the surreal work of Kinga Chrzaszczewska aka Kinia Kik at this bohemian evening with music of highly acclaimed Jazz artist Tony Kofi.
Kinia Kik Kinga Chrzaszczewska A.K.A. Kinia Kik is a Warsawvian painter who has lived in London and Southern England since 1995. Her work is her expression of her intuitive self and is born out of both her dreams and her emotional response to the world. She is a “woman who runs with the wolves” driven by spiritual intrigue i...nto the wildness of being, the folk, the carnival, the dream. She responds with colour, shape, tone and texture including collage. In her work is emotion, is seriousness, is playfullness. There are rich layers of symbolism and of reactions to experiences felt and to feelings experienced.
Tony Kofi Winner BBC Jazz Awards 2005 -Album of the Year
Winner BBC Jazz Awards 2008 – Best Instrumentalist
Winner, Best Ensemble, Parliamentary Jazz Awards 2005,
Nominee, Mobo Awards 2008
Winner of the Jack Petchey foundation award 2015
Winner of the Black Achievers award –Cultural, music and arts award 2016
Tony Kofi is a British Jazz multi-instrumentalist born of Ghanaian parents, a player of the Alto, Baritone, Soprano, Tenor saxophones and flute. Having 'cut his teeth' in the “Jazz Warriors” of the early 90’s, award-winning saxophonist Tony Kofi has gone on to establish himself as a musician, teacher and composer of some authority. As well as performing and recording with Gary Crosby's “Nu-Troop” and “Jazz Jamaica”, Tony’s playing has also been a feature of many bands and artists he has worked/recorded with include “US-3” The World Saxophone Quartet, Courtney Pine, Donald Byrd, Eddie Henderson, The David Murray Big Band, Sam Rivers Rivbe Big band, Andrew Hill Big Band, Abdullah Ibrahim, Macy Gray, Julian Joseph Big band, Harry Connick JR, Byron Wallen's Indigo, Jamaaladeen Tacuma's Coltrane Configurations and Ornette Coleman.
His fluent and fiery hard-bop style makes him constantly in demand. He currently leads his own Tony Kofi Quartet, Tony Kofi Sphinx Trio, Future Passed Trio and is also the co-founder with Jonathan Gee of the Monk Liberation Front, a group that is dedicated to the music of Thelonious Monk. Tony’s latest project sees him performing with Alex Webb’s Café Society Swing, Arnie Somogyi’s Jump Monk, Larry Bartley’s JustUS Quartet, Adrian Reid Quartet, a double leaders project with Alan Barnes called Aggregation, Orphy Robinson’s Bobby Hutcherson songbook project, Alina Bzhezhinska Quartet, Jo Harrop’s Fever, Portrait of Cannonball (Music dedicated to Cannonball Adderley) Tony Kofi and the Organisation, a recent project which he co leads on the Baritone Saxophone.

There is the only one cafe like this one on the whole planet. Unique atmosphere, interior, delicious cafe , food, music and hosts. My best cafe!!!

User

The owners, Gosia and Boban, have created a real local haven here. All the food is great, the drinks ditto, and you can really unwind in an intimate and unpretentious atmosphere. Whenever I come back to London, it's part of being at home. Long live Yeha Noha!

Lovely friendly atmosphere, welcoming management, and last Saturday we enjoyed two great entertainers in a nice small venue, with a great friendly crowd, nice food, good value, served fresh and hot.

User

Cosy place for a beer or a glass or red. Good coffee, limited menu but nice food. Bobby, the owner is a great guy. We went there several times staying in South Norwood and we will miss it.

User

Came here once lunctime with my partner and toddler. We ordered the salad and a roll for my daughter. We did at the time think it was a bit pricey but the salads were huge, filling and very nice. Sat outside with a hot chocolate and it actually felt like being away from London. Card machine was not working at the time. My partner was impressed with the inside but have to say would definitely go back again as you honestly do get what you pay for. QUALITY

User

Best bar to go to before a game. Great food, great atmosphere and amazing staff.
