Very pleasant stay, room was warm clean and comfortable, I was in an attic room and as I am quite tall the low ceiling was a bit of a pain. Breakfast was served by a very pleasant young lady, and the food was of a very high standard.
I arrived at the hotel late in the evening after a very long drive down from Manchester.
I received a warm welcome and was really very impressed with the comfort and facilities offered.
Not only is it very conveniently located for central Barnstaple, the hotel itself is beautiful and to top it off I was served a piping hot, delicious breakfast in the morning with hot coffee. I had several excellent options to choose from, cereals, several types of egg dishes, juice, and more.
In short, an excellent stay which could not have been improved upon.

Wonderful stay. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast. Proprietors have gone the extra mile to make rooms very pleasant. Would recommend it and would would stay again.

Great location for getting into town. Clean rooms. Great shower. Stayed in attic room which could do with a full length mirror.
