This stunning Victorian villa is newly refurbished and perfectly located to explore the Cathedral City of Canterbury and its surroundings, with train links of just one hour to London and 30 mins from the ferry ports, this great value accommodation is a handy stopover for long journeys or as a base to explore the wealth of attractions the Garden of England has to offer. With a UNESCO World Heritage Site on our doorstep, historic buildings, museums, Medieval adventures, fun city tours by boat or foot, beautiful gardens and fantastic shopping and nightlife with a friendly cosmopolitan vibe, Canterbury has plenty to keep you entertained.

staff are great, so is the location of tha hostel
What a fantastic place. Staff was amazing. Location great and hostel has been the cleanest one we’ve ever been to. We stayed in Frodo Lodge what a fabulous idea. Also a huge thank you to Martin for jump starting our car.....couldn’t have chosen a better place as my husbands birthday surprise!!!! Merry Christmas to all the staff at YHA Canterbury 🎄....we will be back soon.
We had another great stay at one of the YHA hostels. We stayed in the cabins which were excellent. As always friendly staff and a warm welcome. We will be back.

Very nice and place for the coach
The lodgeswere fab, perfect for an overnight for two children and two adults and three dogs. A bonus was no extra charge for the dogs.
Nice little place to getaway. Brand new wooden cabin in the garden was superb. We'll be back the kids loved it.
I absolutely love staying at YHA Canterbury . It is very well managed. Friendly place and I felt very at home. It is about 10 minutes walk from the town, so in an ideal position to explore & enjoy all the sights in Canterbury. The beds all have a personal reading lamp and a recharging point for phones etc. Very clean. Thank you for yet another enjoyable couple of nights. I'll be back !! :)
