YHA Ironbridge Coalport is ideally located within the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site, home to 10 family friendly museums, littered with industrial archaeology and brimming with tea rooms, pubs and eateries. Housed in one of the original factory buildings of the Coalport China Works, the Youth Hosel is situated on the banks of the river Severn with canal paths and old railway line walking routes to the iconic Iron Bridge. This hostel is ideal for school trips and family holidays. Refurbished in 2009, YHA Ironbridge Coalport boasts 83 beds over 21 rooms, conference facilities and an on-site café.

Superb hostel, lovely staff, great location as a base to explore the museums and attractions in the area. Self catering facilities are excellent, plenty of space in the lounge and games room too, with a good supply of games and books for young and old alike! Clean and tidy, ideal place for a good value family break.
Staff really helpful , room was clean and shower very good. We had an evening meal there complete with wine which was very good. The breakfast excellent. Great facilities.

Excellent Youth Hostel and we have stayed at a few. Very clean and comfortable. Spacious lounge area, very well equipped kitchen and great games room. The movie nights for the kids is an excellent idea. So much to do within walking distance of the Youth Hostel. A really interesting area.
Came in last minute on three nights (in a row unplanned).
Dorm was cheap but most importantly clean.
Staff have been most accommodating and friendly.
Services like self catering are good, wifi is good. Parking outside.
So if you're stuck out (or planning a trip) I would most certainly suggest YHA
A hidden gem of a hostel ! Great location within walking distance of the local attractions. Great staff who are welcoming and always have a smile.
