Yha Coniston Coppermines

Visited the Coppermines for a wedding - great venue for this but it's also a ovely secluded place in the Lake District to go to get away from it all. Hidden gem!

Great, small hostel in an amazing location. The two members of staff were very friendly and worked incredibly hard.
Clean and tidy, with good self catering facilities.
Perfect spot for exploring The Old Man of Coniston.
The track to the hostel isn't very good and is steep in places, but that's expected for a remote retreat.

A tiny YHA Hostel that gives you the illusion of isolation where in fact your just 25mins from Coniston 2staff who work so hard a great place to stay . 10 out of 10

In the centre of the valley of the old man of coniston, the YHA has spectacular views and is great for those early morning walkers

Been there with couple of friends and really enjoyed very much. It's really nice place on top of the mountain there is the waterfall just next to the hostel. The view was amused us, nice and friendly staff. Well recommended 👍🏼

Lovely location for a group booking, kitchen not quite as well equipped as implied 13 teapots but only half the knobs on the hobs.

It was awesome! Highly recommended! Even in winter! Beautiful views and walks for groups and couples alike

Awesome place for my stag weekend. We had sole occupancy. And it was perfect. 20 mins walk to shops and pubs. But a comfy Warm get away
