just got back from an event which included an overnight stay here! beautiful and historic location. good facilities, clean with everything you need. lovely homecooked food.

Really excellent and attentive staff, pressies for the kids and great food! Great place to meet like minded new people. Never bought my son to any yha before and we think we will do it again as it beats Camping when it’s wet out! Really clean and perfectly adequate rooms!
Our first stay in a yha as a family. Staff are really friendly and accomadating. Great food beautiful location and easy to access lots of places to visit. The yha trail was a great way to spend a day for a family on a budget.
Lovely three course meal for £8.50 - absolute bargain. Delicious and piping hot.
Lovely place in an idyllic setting comfy beds and friendly people would highly recommend and we will definitely be going back
