Wonderful setting, nice rooms, great crew, hot hot showers �

Stayed in this hostel for a night but the staff was really helpful and polite, breakfast was on spot and our room was clean. The views around the hostel are breath taking. Had no problem parking our car. All of this in reasonable price. I will definitely score this hostel 10 out of 10...

Not just one of my favourites, but my absolute favourite. Brilliant hostel, fantastic staff and management who will happily go out of their way to help you.

Lovely location, fantastic staff. Room was very clean and bed super comfy. Parking was not a problem, saw some sunshine so enjoyed the garden, very peaceful. Nice breakfast and will definately be returning xx

Great stay at the Grasmere yha last night after a great walk up hellvelyn it’s got everything you need very friendly staff spotlessly clean room great facilities and a decent breakfast can’t wait to stay again thanks !

Great hostel. Clean and cosy. The beds are comfortable and seem new. Well equipped self catering kitchen. Only issue was 2x fire alarms. One at 11pm and one at 5.40am. Not much info as to what would happen or what the process was once we were all outside. Also the assembly point is in the gardens, and was poorly lit and the path was narrow and presented trip hazards in the dark as it is lined with rocks. The light was switched once we were all assembled.

Great hostel and amazing staff! Did a weeks voluntary work here and loved it.

Just an overnight stop but found it's very plesant. Ideal location. Short walk into village. Handy for fells. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good (only had breakfast) fine. Not as luxurious as some YHA I have stayed at but would come back all the same. Value for money.
