What a great place for a large group!
Clean, warm and in the village of Hawes. Walks, plenty of pubs and shops! Ideal.
Top place
1st time I have stopped in a YHA
Very clean and tidy rooms and I cannot remember when I last slept in a bunk bed was really comfy.
Great way to meet people and chill out.
Loved it great for £8 per night comfy bed breakfast not bad some weirdos but that's the YHA ...
Good food, comfortable accommodation and very friendly staff. A great weekend.
1st experience of YHA Hawes, excellent and friendly staff. Room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. The kitchen was clean and well catered for. I will be back! Thank you
The staff went over and above to help me out and they were all very good. The room was clean and a good size. There was only one socket for the whole room though, thankfully there was only two in the room. There's also no lights by the bed to avoid disturbing others.
Communal meal was great value, tasted delicious and gave a traditional hostel feel.
Staff are polite and pleasant. The self catering kitchen is clean and well-organised. Beds were comfortable and bedding clean. However, the cleanliness of the catering facilities for the YHA breakfast was dubious. It was difficult to find a clean knife and fork from the cutlery trays. Many still had bits of dried food sticking to them. The first coffee cup I picked up still had someone else's pink lipstick on it; others were heavily tea stained. Whoever does the washing up is very slapdash. My travelling companion and I would not buy the breakfast again.
