Yha Helvellyn

A belated post about Keswick Mountain Festival.
We had the "Spider" dome set up and had a chance to chat to a good few people about what we do etc and it was in general a lovely day! We had a couple of showers, but the constant threat of rain is why we all love it here anyway, right??
There were stands from lots of local business, lots of great food, great people and of course, great views!

A lot of people come here and elsewhere in the lakes for adventure holidays and return to their jobs and real lives afterwards, having had their taste of the outdoors to keep them going through the rest of their working weeks. For some, however, adventure is simply a way of life. It's not something they do, it's not something they aspire to do, it is simply what and who they are. This is the case for our new Customer Relations Manager, Womble. Womble is the embodiment of adventure itself and there is nothing he loves more than to pass on that passion to our customers!

It's a new summer season (almost...kind of...) and we're going full steam ahead on the social media train! What a fab place with helpful and friendly staff! The track up is the only downside to this little hideaway! Love it!

Magnificent view cosy rooms and the best eggs for breakfast to keep you full for a whole day adventure ;)

Lovely little hideaway. Located near some beautiful scenery and walks, easy enough walk from the town. Staff were really friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem. Clean accommodation and facilities, decent bar and drinks selection. Definitely worth another visit.

Great YH. The hostel was clean, tidy and very welcoming. It is well positioned for some fantastic walks.

Everything about our stay at YHA Helvellyn was wonderful! Rooms and facilities were clean and available for our use, staff were helpful and friendly, and the hostel itself was located in a beautiful spot. Would definitely return and recommend!
