Yha Langdale

Beds were comfortable, had sufficient space, clean hotel and ideal location.

YHA seem to have a good knack at employing the right people for the right place and Langdale was no different with the staff there all doing their best to help the guests out. The grounds and the interior in the lounges are fantastic, the only downside was trying to find the place, it is very easy to miss a sign and signal in a lot of the nearby areas is weak.

But location is well worth it.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great place to stay, sc kitchen quite small, but the food you can buy was good value. Peaceful environment, plenty of space to relax and beautiful walks in the garden and surrounding woodland

Nice location, good rooms and good food

Went to a wedding here in June 2016. A fabulous venue in a quite unique house. Staff were friendly and helpful and made the wedding experience for the couple a joy. Also I remember visiting here in August 1969 when I was 15. Had a great time over 40 years ago but this time I didn't have to clean the latrines. Well worth a visit.

Great hostel! Lots of rooms that are quite spacious. Lots of seating available in the dining area and living rooms. Beautiful views and lots of mountains around.
