Yha Liverpool Albert Dock

This was my first stay in a hostel and absolutely loved it, in future il always look for a yha before I look for a hotel. Rooms are brilliant, comfy and everything is so secure! As for the staff, well not only did each of them always have a smile on their face but service couldn't have been better. Thank you for having us!!! �

Stayed here twice now. Once in 2015 for my sisters hen do, and this weekend for my hen do.

Lovely little place, local and easy access to the docks and the town. Decent price and clean. Deffo recommend 👌

Really friendly staff who were more than helpful. Wiil be back when I next visit Liverpool.

Me, my girlfriend and our 1 month old son have stayed over Christmas whilst visiting family. I was abit apprehensive at first with it being a hostel over a busy period but my worries were soon quashed. The stay was extremely pleasant and felt right at home, the whole vibe of the reception and eating area is so relaxing and welcoming. The room was clean and bed was comfortable, anything we needed was supplied at the reception desk by the friendly staff. There were a few groups of people going out of a night but heard hardly anything in the room of a night and the baby slept soundly. When we were due to travel back we couldn't due to adverse weather back home, the staff did not hesitate to book us in for an extra night in the same room. We have trips planned in 2018 booked in YHA stops throughout the country and if they are up to the standard of the Liverpool YHA we can't wait to go. David, Hannah and Cooper. thank youuuuu

Love this place.Friendly and helpful staff.Clean,not to noisy for a city centre hostel.Canny Breakfast,its own Bar and perfect location for everything.And ,it has one of Liverpools best pubs right beside it.Whats not to love

Just returned from ther only stopped a Saturday night for stag ... excellent location near docks.. 4 of us shared a 6 bed room to ourselves.. room ,shower room and toilet spotless staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast was a great start to recovery...

I am from Liverpool and am using this AYH awaiting my flight date from London to Guatemala via Fort Lauderdale. That I am from this great City nevertheless this is a top YHA NEW BUILD and is immaculate in every description. Very friendly staff. Very secure luggage facilities. Great comfortable very clean beds. New shower facilities. Plenty of very hot water. Laundry facilities. On site food and breakfast (at an extra charge) A very safe and secure facility for the youngsters. Very reasonable nightly charges. An all round credit to itself.

They have options for food as well and literally across the road from Liverpool One and bus station linking to Anfield or Goodison

Great place to stay, cheap, clean, good food at reasonable prices, the staff are very friendly and helpful and a great location for traveling to and from the City.

I left my wallet in the room and only realised after checking out. I made my way back to the hostel about an hour later and they had it behind the counter already and refused to take a reward for it . Very good customer service.

Fantastic hostel; when travelling alone I’ll always book the YHA hostels...it’s in a beautiful area opposite the Echo Arena/Albert Dock...very clean, safe and the staff are friendly/helpful. Would recommend to sole and group travellers.

Fantastic hostel in ideal location. Room clean and modern, love the details like the wall heater where you could set your own thermostat to temperature of own choice and each bed having not just individual light and 3 pin plug but also two usb charge points, not to mention the door art! The staff could not have been more helpful. Had lots of local knowledge and took the time to give us a map and offered practical suggestions and directions. Adore the supper treat of carrot cake and hot chocolate for £3.50. Great value and quality all round.

All good. I have stayed a few times over the years, and as regards location, cleanliness,staff, food, drink and bed (female dorm), its one of the best hostels I have stayed in...I love the hostel, and I love Liverpool....:-)

Absolutely great place to stay as a group. Clean rooms clean bedding good shower and separate toilet great secure doors. Breakfast was good for the price as well, bar prices good.

Good service for the price we paid. It only cost £35 for a room which could have slept 4 people although there was only 2 of us. We were also within walking distance to the Echo Arena and we managed to park in their own private free car park. The staff were quite friendly and helpful so I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect location, friendliness of staff, breakfast, able to have a shower after the half marathon! But only one thing was this woman put her tag on bed & pillow over it! So I came back with my stuffed moved & had to sleep at top. Bit warm stuffy but it's a hostel. Bit over priced for a special occasion.

Didn’t know what to expect as never stayed in a hostel before! But hands down couldn’t fault this, would highly recommend.

But not happy has came back to shared room to find all my toileties shower gel handcream mouthwash etc my herbal tea bags had been cleared thrown away by house keeping as change over 4 girls had left .my stuff was still there when they left the room but they had left a mess. My stuff was on top part of my locker and padlock was there so could see was in use. Staff very unhelpful just wrote it off . Was not cheap stuff either bayliss and harding. Even tried to say the other girls had taken it.

Beware of leaving toileties and yr bits and bobs out.

Our family room was ok: clean but dark / shower room missing toilet lid, tiny wash basin and shower curtain was torn/hanging off. Reception staff were friendly/smiley and I liked the dark haired lady who cooked the breakfast - she smiled while working and chatted (lovely Liverpudlian accent).
