User

Very helpful staff, lovely hostel, I have enjoyed my stay and will be back when I next visit and tube station are with in walking distance of anywhere you would like to go

User

Two nights into a three night stay and loving it!good rooms, great breakfasts and very friendly and helpful staff- plus well equipped self catering kitchen - thank you

User

True to the name the hostel is very central and in a great location. There's loads of restaurants, pubs and coffee shope nearby and the tube is super close. The staff is amazing, helpful and I had a few nice chats.

The rooms are great for hostel standards. The only thing our group had a problem with was showering because sometimes there was no warm water left. But I guess that's simply due to the large amount of rooms and people showering at the same time.

Greetings from Vienna, will defnitely come back.

User

The best hostel ever!!!!!! The staff is amazing and very helpful.I was there 2 weekends and I loved everything. The wifi just works in the lobby, sometimes you're tired and just want to surf in the Internet in your bed, but for me was ok :(.

If I come back to London is sure that I'll be there again!!!! If a friend ask me one recommendation for sure I will recommend this hostel.

I forgot to mention that the breakfast is complete and delicious. :)

User

Super location and fabulous staff, would definitely recommend

User

I stayed here for 8 nights. All staff is nice and friendly. The room is very clean . Kitchen and lobby are great, either. If I have chance to LON again,I still select YHA. YHA like a big family.I loved it.

User

I stayed here for 7 days!! I really loved it! Nice people, very safe and so well located! Staff is wonderful, specially christian Oliver who is so nice and always trying to make you feel at home!! No doubt, i would choose yha again!!!

User

I absolutely loved it. Even though only having wifi in the lobby seems like a disadvantage, it turned out to be a huge advantage! You'll get to know so many amazing people so quickly, especially when traveling by yourself. The staff is incredibly helpful, nice and handsome as well ;). The rooms were very clean. I'd absolutely stay there if I'm ever in London again. Wish I could have stayed longer..x

User

Had an excellent time while staying at this hostel. It is clean, the staff are extremely helpful, and the location is spot on. I will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in London.

User

Great staff. Great food. Great hostel! Will definitely stay here again❤️ Loved it.

User

Fantastic place.highly recommended,so peaceful and friendly.

Immaculate also.x

User

Convenient central location. I've been here for the second time now. It's a clean hostel with very friendly and helpful staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. I am a light sleeper and was fine. The only slightly annoying thing this time is that someone took my shower gel and shampoo, but cannot fault the hostel for it as they didn't take it and they immediately checked and apologized. So I am happy to recommend this place and to stay here again in future.

User

Amazing service very clean and tamer is the go to man, amazing customer service from all the staff fully recommend it.

User

Stayed last night.

Stayed at the Cardiff, isle or Wright and the Conway YHA’s.

This one was as good as the Cardiff one. Clean, friendly staff. Hoping to stay with my partner soon as it was a special school educational visit last night. Just don’t run out of pizza’s next time! Was gagging for one on my 2-5am waking night!

User

Stayed here a year ago and we were very impressed with our first ever family Hostel stay - so we stayed here again in a family room ( 5 of us sharing 3 bunks) with ensuite on the 3rd floor. Room was clean and it filled a purpose after a long day out in London. Rooms do get warm but a fan is provided and the windows open a little bit.

Staff were always welcoming, friendly and helpful. And the breakfast / lounge area is a reasonable space to grab a coffee and a snack.

The only criticisms I have are:

1) noise from the banging corridor doors when guests in other rooms get up to use bathrooms in the night etc or to leave. It was bang, bang, bang from about 5am yesterday. Slower close hinges would be far better and allow guests to sleep undusturbed.

WiFi is frustratingly bad as relies on the awful _Cloud service. We struggled to get it to work properly and it would be nice to have a better service.

User

Nice place! Good location, friendly people, better than expected food and drink. Not super cheap, but we took the pricier room. (Experience suggests that in London if you're in a dorm room lock up everything.) I would use this place again.

User

I stayed here for 2 weeks. Extremely tidy and a very lively place. The staff is kind and helpful (most of them!). The location is a big advantage since it's very central. The only concern being the wifi, which is slow and non-functional in the dorms (available only at the reception-cum-lounge)

Recommend it if you are looking for a cheap, clean place in London and planning to explore the tourist attractions.

User

As almost everyone states, the staff here are super friendly and the rooms are very clean. Despite these good traits I feel like the description for this hostel on Hostel World was a bit misleading. The 24 hour cafe does not serve from their menu at all hours and even though the reception is open 24 hours the actual check in time (2pm) is not posted on Hostel World. The service was great but if it weren't for these two items I would give them a 5/5 instead of a 4.5/5.

User

Decent place for the price. It's pretty clean, and the common areas are fun. Just a head's up to the staff, you have a mouse. I saw him scurrying around the kitchen. The housekeeping staff can be a little invasive, too.
