Join us at YHA Manchester on Sunday for World Earth Day. We'll be running a swap shop and jumble sale, followed by live music from local artist Becky Langan Music. Bring your old clothes and join in the fun!

huge common areas, super clean and tidy, beautifully decorated, good price. friendly and kind staff. awesome rooms, good views :) the only not good thing was the very little water that came from the shower. the rest, everything spectacular.

User

always a pleasure, always perfect even when they are refurbishing like in these days. Always super friendly staff. You will always feel like at home. <3

User

We loved it! Helpful staff, great food, just a 5- or 10-minute walk to Deansgate station, and tons of fun quirky things to explore along the way. Beds super comfy -- better than my bed at home. We were sorry to leave.

User

Very well looked after! The staff involved with the booking process and those I met during my staff were great! Always happy to help and ensure all guests had what they needed. Seemed as if everything had been thought of.

A very enjoyable stay, thank you!

Very helpful staff. My friend and I had, in our foolsihness, forgotten to ask in advance if we could stay in the same room. When we made this request upon checking in on the evening of July 28th, the staff working the reception went to great lengths to accommodate us. Much appreciated

The staff and management, who I know very well are really lovely, friendly, caring people and they also put on free family friendly events, at which adults also have immense amounts of fun. I've enjoyed every aspect of going here, from the food to the atmosphere and the location is absolutely awesome. A real gem of a place situated right within Castlefield, which is a visually awesome surrounding on the doorstep not to mention the awesome Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) literally around the corner.

Perfect. Private room for 4 with en-suite. Lovely location, very peaceful away from the traffic. The food was just fantastic with decent portions and excellent prices. Would recommend highly if staying over for a concert or shopping. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Can't wait to go back.

My sand 3 friends stayed overnight for the Xmas market. The staff were very friendly I thought the room was clean and tidy stayed in other hostels great to have bathrooms in room small but all you need sockets in each bunk was a great idea no fights over the sockets and useful if using phone as an alarm. Would not hesitate to stay again will be straight onto trip advisor to recommend you .

Staff very friendly and has food and drink on sites so don’t have to go out

User

Great place close to the busy centre but quiet in the yha, pizza a bit dry but thoroughly recommend it

User

Great location, nice and clean, perfect base for a weekend in the City Centre.

User

Excellent value for how nice the Youth Hostel is and all the facilities. Friendly helpful staff too. I’ll defiantly be back soon! 🙂

As a Campaigner for better access and understanding in provision for disabled persons, I was impressed by this Hostel, nicely laid out for design of access, with trained and interested staff who were willing to provide assistance where needed’ Disabled toilet facilities, an accessible room with Bathroom/wet room, Lowered counter at reception and in the kitchen, Will hope to stay again, very enjoyable place with views of canals and geese.

User

Stayed there only for one night but it was enough to see that the hostel is very clean with a cool vibe, cool facilities, and situated in a beautiful place, I just don't give 5 stars because it's a standard of mine not to give that to anything unless it's something that really takes my breath way, so, congratulations guys you have a really nice hostel, definitly I'll go back one day!!!

User

Staff and facilities are fab! All customers very unsociable but hey ho! Each to themselves but a hi or good morning doesn't cost nothing

User

Me and my friends stayed over last weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The only complain was that the bathroom in our bedroom was quite small. All the staff were lovely and really helpful, especially one receptionist that could speak Spanish, and also one of the night receptionists who explained to us how to get to different places and even called us a taxi. We would absolutely stay again and recommend it to our friends

User

Amazing staff. Great location. Great facilities. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. Will Definitely Recommend And Go BACK.!!!!

User

The Hostel is ok for a one or two night stay :-) - Staff were very helpful and the breakfast and room was ok.

The only negative side is when you are trying to sleep at 2.45am - you had your other roommates coming in at the same time from their nightout :) but ill give them credit they were trying to calm down on the noise.
