You might not want to venture far beyond this impressive National Trust country house! Set in 60 acres of magnificent grounds with spectacular views - it's perfect for a cheap family holiday in the heart of the Peak District. YHA Ravenstor is located at the point where Tideswell and Millers Dales meet, high above the River Wye, and this country retreat offers fab opportunities for activity breaks in the great outdoors, including superb walking holidays.
The Youth Hostel has 70 beds so is ideal for groups, with freshly cooked meals and friendly staff to look after you on your stay. The hostel is set in private wooded grounds with walking access to Millersdale and the Monsal Trail, making it a brilliant base for families and backpackers to explore the stunning Derbyshire Dales.

Fantastic setting, great staff and just what we wanted!
Excellent no complaints everything was as it should be helpful staff clean accommodation. The food is ok but if you walk down the road to the Anglers arms the food is top notch and the serve real ales too.
Can't fault building, location, staff all perfect even weather not bad.
Beautiful place peaceful surroundings and an extremely polite and helpful guy on reception. Rooms are very clean and warm and all the facilities for self catering is amazing or if you’re buying their home cooked food very reasonable prices. Thank you and I’ll definitely be staying again
