User

What a fantastic hostel. So close to Stratford upon Avon and in fabulous rural settings. Not 5o mention the freindly team that work to make your stay such fun.

User

What a beautiful, grand old house complete with stained glass windows, chandeliers and of course..... bunk beds! Really though, as with all youth hostels, a very friendly place where everyone will feel at home.

User

We absolutely loved the place! Spent a few days over Christmas there, had a comfy and very clean family room. The staff were friendly and very helpful from day one. It's a kids friendly place, which helped a lot having a 3 and a 7 year old. We are definitely planning to come back in the future! Thank you for making our stay and Xmas the one to remember!

User

Stayed in a few YHAs before, but this property and location are so far on top of my list. Had 4 guests with me and we've stayed in room 24 which sleeps 5. The room was tidy, we could adjust the heat so while cooking and eating in the self catering kitchen the room got nice and warm. The breakfast was delicious, staff very friendly and helpful, oh and we slept sound, it was so quiet :) definitely recommend for all

User

Lovely place and building, friendly efficient staff, great location. I stayed in room 23 (dorm of 6), clean and pleasant room. Great breakfast, excellent self-catering kitchen as well, comfortable lounge. There's a drying room too. One bus every 30 min on Saturday and one every hour on Sunday. I chose to walk the 2 miles: flat, easy but not the most thrilling walk but some houses will keep you awake! Stratford itself is a vibrant historical place. A fab weekend. Thank you!

User

Lovely experience. Lovely staff to name a few James and Sophie and manager Stephen. Sorry to the other guys Iā€™m rubbish with names but you do a brill job. Thank you.

User

Just had coffee and cake on our walk about the staff were very friendly

I've just come home from a very pleasant stay at YHA Stratford-upon-Avon. The hostel was clean and modern. Each bed has it's own electrical point and reading light, which is nice. The staff were helpful, efficient and really friendly. A lovely hostel located about 2.5 miles outside of the main town. There is plenty of parking at the hostel and massive grounds. If you drive into town from the hostel, there are plenty of car parks, but avoid the NCP, as it is very expensive. Lots to see in and around the town, including the Shakespeare properties, which are a 'must' ! The markets are great, as are the views along the river. Thank you to all the staff at YHA Stratford Upon Avon for making my visit such a pleasant one.

User

I stayed there yesterday and had one of the camping pods, they are very comfortable and quiet, might be a bit cramped with four though. I had an evening meal and excellent breakfast, was even able to get a few beers. Thoroughly recommend it.

User

Fantastic staff and ā€¦ brilliant bar?!

User

We stayed one night in a pod and enjoyed this very much!

We stayed hear after a trip to Warwick castle (20 min drive away). It it is a lovely place. We had room 14 with 2 bunk beds & ensuite. It was spacious & well set out. Very clean. There are great communal areas although the number of tables in the self catering kitchen are minimal. We got there after 8pm & up at 9.30 and missed both dinner & breakfast so please do check times if your using the restaurant. We end up with a Chinese take away from Mr Chans a 5 min drive away which was lovely. The pods look ace. There are 3 just slightly set back to the side of the main house. Large field where I think I can walk the dog. Stratford Upon Avon was a 20 min drive away. We would defiantly visit this hostel again.

User

We had a lovely time.however, we were told on check in that breakfast was served till 10 am but when we got downstairs at 9.35, the kitchen was closed and it turns out breakfast is served till 9.30, not what we were told.but the room was clean, as good as a hotel.staff very helpful and a gorgeous setting on a wonderfully warm day/evening.

User

This place has a good location to it, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food isn't bad, would be ok for towels to be provided for drivers and a kettle and ironing board and iron too, but apart from that a relatively quiet location.

User

Just returned from spending one night at the Stratford YHA. We had room 24, a private room suitable for families and ideal for us and our 3 children aged 13 and under. Our first experience of the YHA and was a little nervous if I am honest.. but would highly recommend to young families. The entire place was clean and tidy and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The children loved the games room and loved the fact the daddy had to sleep in a bunk bed... of course mummy got the proper single. Beds were clean and well made and the room was warm and comfortable too. Great first experience.

User

Attended for British Triathlon training course, facilities were excellent, great dining / restaurant area and meeting room. Car park was a little tight but probably due to the popularity of this YHA.

User

Lovely place, nice clean rooms but unruly kids running the halls until very late (I have kids who were trying to sleep) breakfast, food all quite shrivelled up and not much of it, came out in dribs and drabs....

User

I recently had an interview here but did not stay over. The receptionist was friendly and even made me a cup of tea for free. They have a good restaurant with outdoor seating area. It was great that I could leave my car in the cark and walk into stratford town centre in roughly 40 minutes so good location for a break.

User

Friendly staff and a reasonably priced location. 5 mins drive to Stratford. Shared WC and bathrooms.
