£17.25 for 2 nights in this stunning and historic location on a cool but sunny November weekend was great value for money.

Thank you so much for yet another enjoyable stay. We stayed here just before Christmas and the facilities are great & we could not fault the staff - very helpful and the lady at reception was brilliant with my little boy (he loves his badge!). Great value for money and great location - what a view in the morning from our room. We cannot wait to return again!

Massive Thanks for Danielle and the team for offering a warm and friendly welcome on a very wet and cold day. Second visit for me and as good as the first if not better (improved room and loads of parking) Facilities = Excellent. Hospitality 11/10 :-D and location, well, what can you say? You don't get too many of those sublime views to the pound.

Already planning next walk for another visit and Thanks to the Sociability of YHA, I've come away with a new friend who I shared the dorm with.

I spend 2 nights at the YHA Whitby and really enjoyed my stay there. This was my first time staying at a youth hostel so I was unsure what to expect, the room was clean and tidy and well maintained. I will definitely be using the hostel again on my next visit to Whitby.

I love this place so much. The most beautiful place I have ever stayed and super affordable for the views and the area. Awesome staff who go the extra mile and the food is banging!

Great location- peaceful and picturesque . Parking is easy and secure. Staff happy and helpful - lots of space to self cater and relax in lounge.

Fantastic location - couldn't be better. A beautiful historic building with a lovely garden overlooking the iconic Abbey. The hostel is lovingly maintained and cared for by a team of staff who are always willing to help you. The attached restaurant/tearooms have been refurbished to a high standard and have a lovely, bright and contemporary feel. Food and beverages are excellent. Thoroughly recommend this hostel to all visitors to Whitby.

Excellent staff...checked in late after a long drive and the night porter couldn't help me enough !! Friendly and welcoming, and it was the same with everyone I met at YHA Whitby during our stay...

Cheap and cheerful, does exactly what it says on the tin. Clean, basic room, good facilities, brilliant views and excellent attentive staff.

Amazing! We had our wedding celebration at YHA Whitby & Ian, Peta, Charlie, Josh & team were fabulous! The food was amazing (and such good value) and your friendly team couldn't do enough for our guests. Everyone had a brilliant time; we're still getting compliments on our beautiful day now. A lovely venue in a special place. Rooms and communal areas were very clean. Food was good and staff were very helpful. Bring your own games for older kids there is more for little ones in the lounge area.

Stayed here for a night for my birthday , We had the Family room booked and the view from the bed was amazing , The Abbey to go to sleep to and wake up too! The shower had stopped working but we were given access to another room so that we had our own shower to use. Couldn't fault the service from the staff. Breakfast was lovely .. would Def stay again . Thank you for making my birthday so enjoyable !
