Apologies for anyone who tried to order online tonight, we were inundated with orders within 10 minutes of opening, and ended up with a 2.5 hour waiting time by 5.30pm, so had to take our own website, and Just Eat, offline till around 9pm when we had caught up! On a positive note, we are now delivering to Murton SR7 9?? postcodes due to high demand, (and a very direct route there), and also Hebburn NE31 postcodes. Unfortunately, Seaham is still out of the equation, as there is no quick route for the drivers to take. Please, PLEASE, pre-order whenever possible so we can plan the logistics ahead, any time after 12 noon, you will get an answer on our shop number! Well, our first night with the new website going live went quite well! Thank you to all of you who tried it out tonight, we would love to get your feedback, and any comments you would like to make. Between answering my mobile with one hand, the landline with the other, pressing the 'accept' button on our new console with my third hand, and trying to accept orders on the Just Eat console with my big toe,😧 it was a little stressfull at times, but I managed, and got all the orde...rs out pretty much on time! There were a couple of gremlins in the system, which we expected, but generally, we are happy with the outcome of the first night. In between peeling potatoes, and frying Prawn Crackers tomorrow, I need to make time to put the Chillis,🌶️ Nuts🌰 and Veggie🥦 icons on EVERY dish! Won't THAT be fun (NOT!)😵 Once again, a massive thank you to all the customers who tried it out tonight, we hope it was a seamless experience for you, and you will continue to use it, and not 'you know who!' The App is on the way, making it much quicker to find us! And lastly, but by no means leastly (is that a word?), huge accolade to my lovely wife, Ying, who worked through it all like the true trojan she is! 😍Amazing!

quality new local estsblishment. refreshing to have takeaway food that you can tell is all made from scratch.. ive grown tired of local chinese takeaways with the same old bought in frozen & deep fried food, they are all the same.. i even questioned on the telephone to see if the prawn toast was bought in or homemade. it was definitely homemade.. masaman curry was rich & flavourful and the salt & chilli chips were an explosion of flavour.. 10/10 and i will be back again tonight ���

Wow! First time trying Thai food and completely blown away!! The food was bursting with flavour and hands down the best sweet and sour prawns I have ever tasted. Will definitely be back for more and recommending to everyone to give it a Thai

What a fabulously tasty feast we had tonight! Some may say I am bias considering the owners are my Dad and his wife but I don’t need to be. We ordered for a group of 8 all the way from Low fell and they did not disappoint.. the food arrived steaming hot and was surprisingly speedy arriving. All of the meals were super tasty and we laughed at people testing different spices! Ying is a quality chef. A lot of love goes into her food. The chips are a treat and it’s all so so fresh!! No grease like other takeaways! There is a real buzz about this place and It’s fully deserved.

Tried here last night for the first time and it definitely won’t be the last. Best takeaway I’ve ever had, amazing food so much flavour. Worth anyone’s money, I can’t wait to have it again.

Having heard such great things since Yings opened i really couldnt wait to try!

Both dishes were so tasty.Ive been to Thailand and it was as tasty and as fresh as the food I ate there.

I got the mixed seafood jungle curry with jasmine rice and the seafood was such excellent quality and so fresh! I was asked how spicy I wanted it.i said as spicy as Ying would cook it and it was exactly the Thai way.Blew my mouth off in a good way making me want more but you can have it milder if you prefer.

My partner used to live in Thailand and he lived on chicken panang we ordered that aswell.It was honestly 1 of the best we have had.it was so tasty.I can't honestly wait to order again.i havnt been able to stop thinking of the food and the excellent friendly customer service that was received when my order was taken and on collection.Despite being so busy the owner was still so helpful and couldn't do enough for us.Thankyou and we will order again this week!

SO THRILLED to have found this outstanding place. The quality of the ingredients used is unbelievable, I can honestly say I've never had Thai food like it. Beautifully presented, delivered piping hot (despite being quite a distance away), and the most well-balanced and beautiful flavours, not to mention the staff who bend over backwards for their customers. I tried Ying’s for the first time last and I now have a new favourite takeaway in Sunderland. The food was beautiful and fresh, piping hot when it arrived. The staff on the phone and delivery driver were so lovely and very friendly �

I honestly can’t describe how AMAZING my taste buds feel right now. Not even an exaggeration!! We tried this takeaway as we’ve just completed on our first home so wanted something a bit different after a long day of pulling bathroom suites out and my god thank god we did!! We ordered Thai green curry but I don’t like spicy food where as my partner does, this was no problem and he even asked what type of spice he liked! We also ordered spring rolls and king prawns - mouthwatering!! Driver was only 10 minutes late but we got a phone call a few minutes before he was due to tell us he was stuck in traffic because of the air show - something we’ve never had off any other take away. Food was packaged and labelled well and tastes just like an expensive restaurant. 110% worth those extra pennies! Will be back again in no time. Thank you! �

First visit for me after reading all the brilliant reviews... I was able to pre order my meal after 12pm to be sure it would be ready on time as ying's is always busy... I ordered chicken panang (spicy) with Jasmine rice and salt and chilli chips...all I can say is WOW..everything was perfect... Loved the homemade salt n chilli chips... Chicken panang was lovely with a healthy kick of spice... Best Thai takeaway I've used... Will definitely be back.... Thanx laurence and Ying...

Absolutely beautiful food, got recommendation today and I’m so pleases we ordered. Very authentic food loved every bite. We had the salt and chilli calamari and chips too along with prawn pad Thai and green curry with coconut rice. Ordered wings for my son and asked for plain no sauce, got with sauce so a little disappointed with that but have to say the sauce was to die for. Great little business to come to Sunderland �

AMAZING! I love Thai food and eat out regularly in Thai restaurants and this was better than some places I’ve eaten out. The food is full of flavour and you can taste the food is cooked fresh. Laurence gave me a call to confirm that all items on my order were vegan as I left a message on just eat to make sure, he called me to tell me my order was going to be ten mins late (which I’ve never had from any other take away) and then he also delivered the food to my door! I can’t recommend this place enough, unreal!
