This weekend sees the return of the fantastic Proper Food and Drinks Festival to our lovely Northumberland Square. If you are out and about and fancy a break from the hustle and bustle, our cafe opening hours are as follows Saturday 9.30am - 3pm Sunday 9am - 3pm Monday 9am - 3pm

Even the simplest task can become a challenge when looking after a child with autism and Verity Edwards has given us an insight into her daily experiences.
We've teamed up with Verity to raise awareness for children with autism with the intention of starting up a group for local parents and carers who may be facing similar issues.

YMCA North Tyneside, as a youth and community centre, is well aware of the growing issue of youth loneliness and its causes. Thanks to funding received from Co-op Foundation, through Building Connections Fund Youth strand, we have been able to investigate what it means to groups of young people in and around North Tyneside and consider ways to prevent or address youth loneliness.
