Welcome to the YogaBellies Chilterns.

Are you scared of yoga? Do you feel you won’t be able to do it ‘properly’ or all the other ladies will be younger and more flexible and you will feel out of place?
My classes are VERY DIFFERENT from ‘drop in’ gym classes. I absolutely do not care what age you are; what shape you might be; how fit you are; or if you have any yoga experience.
My women’s classes focus on sensation over form - how does each pose feel?

We are all blessed with our own unique bodies and so everyone’s individual practice will be beautifully different - it is about your own self-care journey.
YogaBellies® sessions incorporate a range of yogic and holistic techniques which create a unique experience for our clients. Our sessions incorporate traditional yoga asanas (postures), self-hypnosis and deep relaxation. YogaBellies® classes are entirely unique and our class formula means that 86% of our class attendees have never set foot in a yoga class before. We make sure our classes are non-scary, non-threatening, welcoming and open to all levels of practitioner. We believe that yoga is accessible to everyone.

I believe that one of the best things about YogaBellies is that it makes yoga accessible whatever your age, flexibility or fitness level. There are pre-natal classes, post-natal classes, and classes dedicated to women’s bodies at all life stages. YogaBellies can be for you at all times. I am currently running pregnancy, mum and baby, and women’s Luna classes. One of my favourite things about teaching, besides meeting the amazing ladies, is creating a calm relaxing space for a few hours. The beautiful summer sun hinders the atmospheric lighting but it is just starting to turn and we were able to practice in twinkling lights last night in our Luna class. Some new Neal’s Yard oils arrived today - I can’t wait to have them in the diffuser next week 😍🙏🧘🏼‍♀️💗

Join YogaBellies Chilterns for a summer special outdoor pregnancy yoga class, weather permitting. 🧘🏼‍♀️☀️🌓
Whether you regularly practice yoga during your pregnancy, have never done yoga before or indeed never practiced yoga outside, you are very welcome for an evening of stretching, gentle exercise, relaxation and fresh air.
In this one-off class we will be using traditional yoga postures (asana), adapted and beneficial for pregnancy and the common ailments associated with ...pregnancy. We will end with a beautiful combination of self-hypnosis and yoga nidra (deep relaxation).
The postures are taken from YogaBellies pre-natal yoga classes and are gentle and safe for all women, whether you are new to yoga or have years of practice. The evening lasts 1hr 15 minutes and costs £10.
Booking is essential to reserve your space. Please email alice@yogabellies.co.uk.

I have just come back from teaching a morning of classes to this... I have met lots of lovely new mummies and babies in YogaBellies for Mum and Baby 👶🏼🍼💙💗 followed by a one-to-one private class in the fresh air. Whilst there are stresses with this job, like all, sometimes it doesn’t get any better 😊👍🏻🧘🏼‍♀️

YogaBellies for Mum and Baby is a unique post natal yoga class which focuses on mum’s three main areas of concern: the back, the abdominal muscles and the pelvic floor. We focus on rebuilding these three key areas post natally, at a pace that suits you. As the integrity of each of these key areas is interconnected, we work on all three at once to help bring back structural integrity to your body.
At YogaBellies for Mum and Baby, we don’t “put baby in the corner” while you practice yoga Our exclusive post natal classes also incorporate baby yoga postures for your little one too so that they can practice with mummy! As every aspect of your life will include baby now, we help you integrate baby into your yoga practice, while feeling the benefits of yoga for you too. You will also learn breath awareness and relaxation techniques, which help to increase energy levels and allow you to relax while with baby (yes it is possible!!)
Yoga provides a wonderful resource for you and your baby that allows you to deal positively with stress, and encourage mindful relaxation in your role as a mother and to help gently guide the body and mind back to their former glory.

We love the Mummy and toddler class. Alice is a lovely teacher and great with my daughter and son. I’m able to do a yoga practice while my toddler and baby are entertained and they also get an introduction to yoga.

This was the first time ever I did Yoga and I was very nervous.. Alice was so reassuring and made me feel at ease. Did Mummy & Baby yoga which I think it was a lovely bonding experience with my baby and also got to do some yoga which was a bonus �
