Yogabumps Description
Practising pregnancy yoga can help new mums and mums to be, adapt to the changes in their body in a positive way.
• Safe poses adapted for pregnancy
• Breathing techniques to help during labour and birthing
• Relaxation to reduce fatigue and tension
• Relief of common pregnancy ailments, i. e. back ache
• Time out to connect with your baby
• Meet other mums to be and broaden your support network
Pregnancy classes (from 12 weeks to birth).
Postnatal classes (from 6 weeks after birth).
My name's Michelle and I've been a midwife for 15 years and have helped hundreds of women birth their babies. And as a mum of three I've had some practical experience too!
I was introduced to yoga to help with a lower back problem – and it worked wonders. I loved it so much I decided to combine yoga with my midwifery experience and train as a pregnancy yoga teacher.
I believe that yoga can help pregnant women find quality time to relax and focus on themselves and their baby, and learn techniques that will prepare and empower them for birthing. It's also a valuable opportunity to meet others on their journey through pregnancy.
