No matter how Instagram algorithms change, hashtags are going to be one of the best ways to reach wider audience on Instagram completely for free. There are several tips which you should take into account when using Hashtags. 👇
📌 Don't use a lot of hashtags. Maximum amount is 30, but the more hashtags you use the more you turn Instagram against yourself. New algorithm doesn't like when you use a lot of non-relevant hashtags. Optimum amount is 5-10 ha...shtags.
📌 Don't use same hashtags in every single post, try to adjust them depending on the content you're posting. If you make publications with same hashtags, then there is a risk that Instagram will mark your posts as "Spam". ❌
📌 Never use the most popular and generic hashatgs like: # food, # drinks, # blogger, # like4like. You will only increase the number of followers, because bots and spammers will start to follow you, but you won't get new clients. Try using longtail hashtags like #leedscitycentre or #leedsbakery instead of #britishbakery to attract your target audience.
