Went in to celebrate national burger day last night and had one of the best burgers in ages! Cracking little bar and cool DJ - great vibe for my girlie Thirsty Thursday night out! We will be back!

We were staying opposite and decided to pop in for a sharer. Cocktails were 2 for 1 on fridays and you can mix them. The mojito was the best I've ever had. We ordered a steak and chicken sharing platter ans it was delicious. We will definitely return. The terrace was lovely and a welcome change of scenery from sitting in a bar.

We arrived just before lunchtime to an empty bar, the lady who served us immediately made us feel welcome, explained they were still serving breakfast, but lunch menu would start shortly and that wasn't a problem, service was quick, efficient and friendly, we had the steak platter, my friends steak wasn't cooked to her liking, no problem at all, swapped over with no problems or fuss...will definitely return and recommend to others

Popped in tonight on way to omedy club opposite. Staff were very friendly, food was great and we loved the cocktails. Definitely coming back to Yolo

Popped in for lunch today and what a hidden little gem. I work on Grey Street and passed here regularly. The food was high quality, good portions and very reasonably priced. The staff attentive and the barmaid who served us was very knowledgable of both good and drinks menu and took the time to listen and talk to us. We then went up onto the roof terrace ...Fab place .....Fab food ......Fab staff ..... well done to all ��

My husband took me to yolo yesterday and the staff here are lovely... very friendly / chatty... excellent service from all we encountered!! The bar itself is very nicely decorated and i loved the terrace upstairs totally unexpected. The menu was plentiful with range of wines and cocktails .... I will deffo come back to here the next time i am in town!

Massive thanks to Megan for helping to organise my party last night. Also thank you to Audrey who was a great hostess & thank you to the barman who took the time to write signs for my guests so we knew what food was suitable for the people with intolerances. Everyone had a great time & the buffet food was excellent.

Love everything about it my fav bar. fab cocktails and the DJ is excellent. Can I ask will the DJ be there on Thursday 27th December ? Thanks

Just wanted to say a big thanks to the team for making Charlotte's 21st Cocktail party a great night, I'm so sorry I cant remember the fab young lads name who looked after our table but he was a star. We will be back for our next special occasion. I would highly recommend the location, the ambiance, the music, the staff and just the relaxed yet party vibe in the place x

I was there on Thursday night with a load of work colleagues for our 'end of the summer season do' and I couldn't fault the place! The upstairs area was ours from 4pm till 7:30pm and it's a great size for parties of all sizes due to 2 rooms which is essentially 1 big area. With a covered outdoor area on the top floor which has ample seating and a small bar it's ideal for smokers or people who want a bit of fresh air. (Upwind of the smokers of course!)



I have to say a massive thank you to the bar staff who were looking after us that night as we were a demanding crowd and yet my (many) cocktails were spot on! I'd definitely come back here for a couple of quiet drinks or another group party! Cheers!

We had stayed in the Motel one directly opposite & had been told to give the breakfast a go, On arrival we took a table ,then ordered our food at the bar we got our drinks but had finished them by our food was delivered, we had to ask for condiments !! The food was very nice although the mushrooms were cold & they had no tomatoes, Customer service was a little on the low side !!

Lovely food however very limited choices today, only thing that spoilt it was your staff and their bad attitudes and unhelpfulness!

Early evening with three young daughters- we were able to make use of the 50% off food offer, free pancakes for the children and a free bottle of birthday Prosecco without any hassle. Originally felt a little unwelcome on entering but the staff engaged well after that and served our children really nicely. Great French martinis made by one of the bar tenders too.

Beautiful surroundings and decor - drinks fabulous - staff very offish and not welcoming at all - don't think we will be back

We were upstairs on a very busy Easter Saturday, the bar staff were extremely busy as the cocktails were two for one and it was heaving, so you allow for having to wait for a while however one of the members of staff (a young blonde lady) had no interest in who was waiting, there was a lady with dark hair that was very efficient and she asked who was next, the young man with a beard was excellent he was aware of who came to the bar and knew who who was next. The cocktails were very inconsistent too depending on which member of staff made them. At one point I had a lime in a strawberry dacquiri!!

We had food too and this was lovely and the atmosphere was great. I would just recommend that you look at the quality of some of the bar staff so you don’t have to wait even longer to be served as you are overlooked twice whilst queuing.

Freezing cold day and freezing in the restaurant, asked the waitress if the heating was on and she said 'yes, it's cold because the doors are open out back' not very friendly, 1000% better service at Yolo in Ponteland, at least they make you think your custom is welcome. Food was nice although my daughters chicken was pretty pink inside, didn't eat it.

My Order was wrong four times & they forgot my cocktail too, I had to remind the staff to make it for me. We Left after obtaining a refund. It spoilt my whole evening.Won't ever go back. So very disappointing.
