You can get really close to the birds to be able to see them properly. Each bird is displaced with interesting and fun information. There are also changes to hold the birds with a member of staff and a range of the birds are flown throughout the day.

The staff are really friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic day in with friendly and knowledgeable staff in a very informal environment. So much more than just watching the birds fly over your head; everyone gets the chance to hold as many of the incredible birds as they like from the massive selection they bring out. Me and my better half spent 30mins flying an owl between us in the field having just held a golden eagle, parrot, goshawk, kookaburra and many more! You're not rushed, not jostling for position, not paying extra fee's for everything you do. And to top it all off; it doesn't cost an arm and a leg!

Absolute must do.

Awesome place! Best birds of prey center I have visited, staff were very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. Went only expecting to stay an hour or two as we were passing through on the way on holiday, ended up spending the whole day there!

The huge range of birds seem genuinely happy there and well looked after. Felt privileged to see and handle them. I extremely recommend for all ages. Kids are also allowed to get hands on with the birds which is great. Fantastic day, thanks to all the volunteers!

Improved and still good since I sent last a few years ago. Staff are excellent. Food facilities are poor but offer some basics. Not marking the place down as that's not what the place is about. The adjacent hotel has excellent bar food so we went out and came back.
3 flight shows during the day are varied and almost blend into each other. Go early though and stay for the day to get your monies worth.
Also they've put in a small play area for kids which is a great idea.

Fantastic place to visit. Very friendly staff and all the birds are well looked after.
The flying displays are excellent with audiences all given the opportunity to participate with getting the birds to fly into them. There are always smaller birds flown to allow the smallest children to enjoy the experience. The Gyr Falcon display was amazing with the falcon flying close to you at great speed.
I had a full day falconry experience which included a hawk walk with Cobra the Harris Hawk through the grounds, the bird flying into you gives a rush of adrenaline like no other. The rest of the day was spent going round the centre with Chris (one of the volunteers) handling the hawks, owls, falcon and the male Golden Eagle.
Overall a fantastic day and highly recommend place to visit.

Fantastic full day experience purchased for my wife and I as a Groupon deal. We lived every minute of it, from the friendly and knowledgeable volunteers to the brilliant birds themselves. The flying display was spectacular, we got to handle almost any bird we wanted to and the hawk walk was great fun.
