York Holiday & Cycle Stop

Fantastic location and facilities! Warm and cosy will be back again next year!

This truly is a place that you would expect came straight out of a book. The manager was so wonderful and he truly made us feel like royalty when we arrived. It is in a wonderful location and although there isn't a straight forward commute to York we managed it without any fuss and it was lovely discovering the village. For example the village hall that was literally a post box filled with pamphlets. The facilities were spot on with two fully furnished shower rooms that didn't remove you from the basics that we seeker. We are 100% returning and would recommend here to everyone. A wonderful, enchanting, inspiring hidden gem that is truly worth a stay.

Great place to stay. Very peaceful and the grounds are very well designed. Kitchen facilities are a nice addition and access is easy and convenient. Owners are great hosts - friendly and approachable. Definitely recommend. Chris and Katie.

Great location, directional map could of been more clearer but found it. Beautiful grounds very clean tidy and peaceful, pods (double bed one) was very clean tidy and was what it was. Very very good facilities, (showers and kitchen area), possibly have separate toilets because of horrible smell from previous person whilst having shower and brushing teeth but overall an amazing weekend away and will return again..... Oh and the communal bbq area is a great idea, perfect. 5Stars

Lovely little place with clean facilities and easy transport links into the City. Ben was very friendly and helpful despite our slightly late arrival and the Eco pods are great! Perfect for those people who enjoy a more minimalist lifestyle. We'll be back again.

Good value and lovely setting. Staff were extremely helpful and lent us a map and tools to help with our cycling. We were also given invaluable cycling advice for the local area. Highly recommend.

1st time staying in a pod. Really enjoyed it very quiet and peaceful.
Pod was very clean and comfortable and warm!
The facilities were very clean and immaculate.
would stay again and bring family and friends with us next time and stay more then one night.
All staff were friendly and welcoming
