A great way to celebrate 3 years of York landscape solutions trading. A garden I did last year has featured in the national 'Build it' magazine. The house was entered into the magazine by the architect. He also wanted a photo with the patio I laid. It finished the house of nicely and I even got a little mention.

Replace a storm damaged fence.

First of five fencing jobs completed due to recent winds.

The brief was to create a modern terrace patio making most of the countryside views. The old concrete patio was replaced with black/blue slate. The crumbling retaining brick walls and steps were replaced with timber sleepers to continue the sharp clean modern look. A timber pergola was constructed to train climbing plants over offering some shade in the summer. A black slate path connects the patio and driveway. Finally a set of steps were constructed using sleepers and slate to tie in the whole garden.

The brief was to remove all plants and shrubs. Two patios were laid connected by paths so the kids could ride their bikes around the garden.

Turn an awkward area into a decking patio.

Use timber sleepers to level ground. Incorporate a set of steps leading to new patio area. Concrete slab base laid ready for a summer house. Natural stone patio for a seating area. Old fence taken down and new one put up in new position to create more enclosed garden space. Parking area made longer by using timber sleepers to retain lawn.

Replace old fence panels. Concrete posts and gravel board used.

Weeds sprayed and killed off. Natural stone corner patio. Level ground level using timber sleepers. Turf. Gravel around the shed.

Turn a neglected garden into a family friendly space. Conifers were removed and replaced with fencing. New raised lawn and planting bed. Extension to existing patio.

Turn the existing crazy paved patio into a natural stone seating area with raised planter. Brick edge around the lawn to complete a more modern and looking garden.

Create a small natural stone seating area. Archway to be constructed over the last slab with a trellis screen. To be completed at a later date. Soil graded up to the paving and sown with wild flower seeds.

This was a blank canvas on a new build site. A circular patio was laid with natural stone cobbles creating a perimeter. The cobbles also created the planting boarders and step to lower seating area. A new lawn was laid. Soil area is for a conservatory.

Raised charcoal grey composite decking on a 45 degree angle from the house. New lawn and natural stones paths.

Break out existing driveway. A Charcoal sett perimeter was laid with matching step. A stable drive gridding system was installed then filled with gravel. The stable drive gridding provides a firm base to drive on unlike a standard gravel driveway.
