A fantastic rural location just outside the village of Sheriff Hutton. The gorgeous pub is walking distance and there are ruins in the village too. It's a magical place. The park has great amenities and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our two nights stay here. Easy drive to the Park & Ride for York.
Its a good all round campsite it allows tents and caravans only bad point... Wifi. You pay for it in mega bytes. Its ten pounds for 1 gb so get films downloaded from free wifi hotspots. All round its a good site with good fecilties.
Decent campsite with the standard array of facilities, including a park for the kids.

A small and fairly new site. A sister site to Golden Square. Very well run and spotless showers etc. Child's play area also

My children really enjoyed this place due to having the park open from dusk til dawn! The showers and toilets were always clean which was much appreciated.
Great site very peacefull. Good facilitys and very clean. Kids love the zip line.
I would recommend this site to families of small children that are looking for somewhere that they can relax, knowing that their children are safe and never short of friends. We have been to York meadows a few times this season and always look forward to returning. The staff are friendly, efficient, and keep the site free of late night excessive noise! Vital with small children. The children's park is fantastic and keeps them entertained. ...SHOWERS 10/10
