York Touring Caravan Site

Okay the setting is great.
The area is clean and tidy, the staff need some people skills though.
On arrival our sister in law was joining us, and she was greeted with keep that dog on a lead, needless to say after a 4.5 hour journey the dog needed to stretch out. Perhaps a little warm in the tone would have been better.
The shower block/cleaning facility is spot on.
Would go back, but avoid taking pets.
Very nice place next to a golf course and golf range. Has a great washroom facility for showering etc! Ran by a great bunch who are dedicated in their service.
Loved the site only down fall is the washing machine /dryer it never drys the clothes fully .
Really clean facilities, it's a small site but great if you want a quiet holiday and with all the major super markets only 2 miles away your never stuck for anything.
Very simple site near York. Located at a Golf course. Sanitary facilities are okay.
This was my third visit in 3yrs. The toilets/showers have been spotless on each visit. Although the door lock was broken on this visit. The pitches are OK. The trees into the dog walk have grown so much it is a fight to get through. You need long sleeves and if it has rained recently you need a hood. Cut some branches and fix the lock and I'll upgrade to 5 Stars for my 2 day stay on each occasion.
The site is laid out strangely. We were pitched on a weird angle surrounded by three others and felt surrounded. There are no trees or shrubs so it's more like a big oval full of campervans. The facilities are clean and well maintained although, the automatic gate doesn't work and would be less heavy to move without the broken automatic attachment. We moved to an adults only park nearby after two nights that I would recommend if not traveling with children.
