If you're looking for the perfect seaside retreat then look no further than Seascape House in Whitby. Situated in close proximity to Whitby and it's beautiful North Yorkshire landscape the house is an ideal location for family weekends or a longer, relaxing holiday. It has stunning sea views and the beach is a 2 minute walk away. The house itself is immaculately clean, comfortable and very classy, with it's contemporary decor reflecting perfectly its coastal surroundings. We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday there, with our three children and their partners (and George the dog) and we had a truly wonderful time. It is extremely well equipped with everything you would expect to find and more. We are all extensive travellers and can honestly say this is one of the loveliest places we have stayed, we could not find fault with anything about our stay. The Welcome pack was very personal and thoughtful (George LOVED the ginger biscuits!!) We have stayed at Seaway House in Whitby for the last 4 years. The house is perfect for a family holiday with ample facilities and the staff are always ready to help with any queries. The children would not miss our annual break in Whitby. The house, its location and facilities make it unmissable

I have never submitted a review on any holiday accommodation we have experienced but I felt that this time we should make an exception. This year we have already stayed in 2 Yorkshire Coastal Cottages in Sands End. On YCC recommendation we stayed at the The Old Post Office - particularly fabulous!. All extensively refurbished and newly decorated in a New England style - all done to an exceptionally high standard. The view from the balcony was frankly stunning. The welcome hamper was a fabulous touch - even our dog was catered for with treats and a frisbie! The staff at the YCC offices were charming - recommending great places to eat and places to visit. We stayed at The Beach House and had the most marvellous time. The house felt welcoming but with a touch of elegance in each room. It is beautifully decorated with many features that make it feel sumptuous. It is a stones throw to the beach and has a fabulous walk to Whitby along the beach.
This is definitely a house we will come back to time and time again as it was amazing to stay in such a beautiful house which you instantly felt at home in.
The staff who arranged the stay were faultless and their attention to detail was second to none.
5 star house and 5 star company.
