About Yorkshire Fatigue Clinic
We are a clinical assessment and rehabilitation service specialising in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome /Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (CFS /ME).
Yorkshire Fatigue Clinic Description
Our team has over 20 years’ experience working in this area within the National Health Service, having set up one of the first specialist NHS Services for CFS /ME in 1990. We want to use our expertise to help you.
Everyone is different, so when you come to the Yorkshire Fatigue Clinic we make an individual assessment of your health problems. We then decide together a treatment plan to meet your needs.
Please look at our website which provides information on the services we offer and how you can get in touch. Talk to us today and find out more about how we can help you.

Moving photos from Sheffield's #MillionsMissing event. For those with ME/CFS that organised and attended these worldwide events we hope your recovery from being at the rallies will be swift. Although there is a strong community of people with ME/CFS who appreciated your efforts, we know your bodies will not have and will be letting you know this over the days/weeks to come. Rest, be kind to yourself and be proud of what you've achieved. Your voice is being heard. #postexertionalmalaise
What photo would you use to show what ME/CFS looks like?
There have been many inspirational messages of hope and solidarity that have filled news feeds this ME awareness week. However, there have also been some very distressing images which may have upset some. If you need some one to talk to then please contact these numbers. They're there to listen. https://www.facebook.com/635207136503250/ posts/1989174237773193/
This remains one of our most popular posts which is still relevant today....
Today is ME awareness day. We support those who are joining together today to raise the profile of the illness and the need for more biomedical research into this misunderstood condition. 250,000 people in the UK suffer with an illness that some medical professionals still refuse to acknowledge, a condition for which many will never be offered any specialist care or support. It is a condition that can leave adults and children confined to bed for weeks/months/years/decades; s...truggling to hold on to the hope of recovery when faced with isolation, disbelief and a lack of treatment options. It is a condition that forces people out of work or education, renders them unable to do much loved hobbies or to see the friends and family they love. It causes unremitting fatigue and exhaustion and an array of symptoms that affect daily function, including the simplest tasks many take for granted. Today all those who have ME or care for someone with this condition are in our thoughts. You remain inspirational!
