Last Sunday we hosted a huge Airsoft event run by Halo Mill Proving Grounds. Over £4000 raised for charity.

What a place. Well organised. Staff are excellent on all levels. So much fun. Thank you very much for our day.

Went here last weekend for a nerf wars 10th birthday party. The kids had an amazing time.staff really helpful, managed the 11 kids perfectly. No falling out or squabbles. Food good and kids woofed it down. Treasure hunt at the end meant a few goodies ( in place of a party bag). Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy party for kids that is a bit different. Thanks to all xx

We had a Nerf wars party for my daughters 13th birthday. There was 15 children. They absolutely loved every minute of it!! The adults also had chance to be big kids at the end joining in with the kids! We took our own party food and the staff sorted a room for us. They were super helpful and friendly. We will be returning with an adult group for a paintball session. Thankyou �

We celebrated our son’s 8th Birthday with a Nerf party. I can’t fault anything. We all had a great time and we were all well looked after �

Thank you for such a great party venue for 14 eight year old boys. They had such a blast playing with laser guns and the party room & food provided was spot on... leaving pretty relaxed Parents at the end which is unheard of!

So good that i travel from Tyneside on a monthly basis to take part in their games. Great field's, top notch food, top staff!

My youngest took some friends and family here yesterday to celebrate his 13th. When I rang to book I was told Sundays weren't the best day for paintballing.I booked it anyway and I'm so glad I did. They had a brilliant time...two other groups were booked in and it sounds like they had a lot of fun. For some of the kids it was their first time paintballing, and they are already planning to go back for my sons 14th. My 15 year old daughter said it was " the best" paintballing venue she had been to even though she had, had quite an experience with a clown😀. So see you soon YPC and Thankyou for a great day.

Just got back from our Sons 9th Birthday Nerf Wars party and absolutely delighted at how well run, organised and fun the party was. The food is excellent and great value for money and the Nerf Wars was enjoyed by all the kids. Thanks so much for all your help you come highly recommended by us.

Fantastic place very well run andy and the staff do a fantastic job as do the marshals they are always on the ball and do anything they can to ensure you have a brilliant safe say out food is excellent prices are excellent would highly recommend ypc if you want a brilliant fun filled day out and its good excersise running around like a crazy person

Absolutely fantastic! We had our 8 year old twins birthday party here and it was brilliant, it was the best party they have ever had. The staff were so helpful, friendly and could not do enough to help, the food was great and everything was so well organised. We will definitely be back (with and without children!) because who doesn’t love running round shooting your mates in the forest!

A brilliant Nerf party for a group of 8/9 year olds. There were a few squabbles (inevitable) but the leader handled them well, and the boys were all happy, tired, mud-spattered, and rosy-cheeked after an hour running around the woods. I did my own food/snacks, as it wasn't really covering a proper meal time, and allowed half an hour for that at the end, which was perfect. Thank you so much to all the staff who were lovely, friendly and helpful - cannot fault it at all!

20 children from the U9's wilberfoss Mavericks football team playing Nerf wars, should be chaos, but the day is so well planned and the kids are so well organised and looked after it was never anything but great fun! A big shout out to Chris our guide for the day, who was absolutely fantastic with all of the children. I'm not sure how we will ever better today's Christmas party - I couldn't recommend this enough

Would really only like to give this 3.7 star rating. Our boys 10th birthday party yesterday. We were told timings of 12-2pm. We took the option of food within our party. We were all done and dusted by 1.15. My husband then had 45 minutes to keep the boys entertained until parents picked up... this really needs to be addressed and organised better!!



The boys did the laser shooting party which they did thoroughly enjoy and the food was warm and tasty. Would recommend to others but you need to get the timings sorted.

Top notch gun-gaming site with cheery & helpful staff, hindered only by some of their participants.

I went for my brother-in-laws stag do with a group of 6 for paintballing. Firstly we were told to wait to grab our gear until we were told to, before watching 3-4 new groups (we were the first group to arrive) just walk up and grab stuff straight away, so we asked when should we get ours and was given it right there, miscommunication perhaps?

The briefing was great, chilled out but informative and easy to take on board.

Now for a few bad parts, during games people would keep shooting you even when you were holding you hand (& gun) up in death, not accidental shots either, but how are we supposed to tell a ref if we have no idea who shot us. Players calling themselves as not dead because 'they shot first' - correct me if I'm wrong but bullets take time to travel, out is out

The worst bit was when players were 'testing out' their guns after games where we were heading back in and just happened to shoot my brother in law twice in his back, but no Ref did anything about it happening after every game, it took us ourselves to confront these people.

The last negative was the lack of communication between games, games ended and we sat chatting in our groups unaware how long we had until the next game, some people had pizza slices or cans of drink in their hand as next games were being called, or others had returned to their cars to grab things

Other than these mainly player-causes negatives I couldn't fault them, from the equipment maintenance to the map layouts, it was excellent and I couldn't recommend them enough

Will definitely be coming back in the near future, hopefully for airsoft this time which we were told has a more 'honest' player base

My son had a Nerf wars party here last month. The staff were very friendly and kind with the kids. It seemed quite well organised and was a busy place. The room to eat in was quite narrow but luckily our kids were old enough to pass things down to each other but there wasn’t enough room to get all the parents and grandparents in to share in the celebrations. Wrap up warm if you’re watching too! I struggled a lot to phone to confirm things as its an internet phone. But they always responded to Facebook messenger quickly. Other than that fab �
