What can I say absolutely fantastic, beer garden one of the best, staff clued up, food looks really good loved it

We were staying in Skipton for a few days in our motor home. .

Called at this pub, lovely atmosphere,very friendly staff especially Katie. .I normally drink cider and fancied a change. .she recommended rhubarb gin and ginger ale. .omg amazing. .she also recommended an Indian which we went too..ended up staying all afternoon trying all the gins. .rest of the staff were friendly too...

Came back Sunday as well. .

Best pub in Skipton...x..

Visited for the first time today for lunch. Service and food great and priced so reasonably. we will be back

The food here was fabulous had lunch here two days on the run but the steak ale and Stilton pie was by far my favourite the best I've ever tasted.it was delicious.

Really warm welcome !

Dogs allowed too.. the pies are to die for .. well worth a visit

Nice friendly staff, helpful, decent wine. What more does one need on a day trip to Yorkshire.

I very rarely go inside ....but when I do the staff are very pleasant....I like to sit down because of my age ..and I it always very busy so I have to stand ..but by the by I give it 5 out of 5

Great selection of beers and ales. Food was good too, Pork and Black pudding sausage with mash and onion gravy washed down with a Dizzy Blonde.

Good choice of gin served in a lovely glass, and an extra slurp of botanist added as it was the end of the bottle, nice touch thanks, we'll be back to watch the rest of the 6 nations 💗

Excellent food best Game pie ever. Certainly recommend.

Been for food here today was lovely and very friendly and willing to help staff... I asked for a high chair and he went and got one and cleaned it before it was used... food was fantastic great portions for both adults and children and very reasonable priced.... defo will call again xx

Ate and drank there today. Great pint, very nice food and fantastic service. If I didn't live so far away I would be there every week.

A fantastic friendly pub. Great food. Tasty beer. Top place. We live 50 miles away but will go there again next time we're in Skipton

Went today 3 sandwiches with chips £18.00 food good and friendly service . 1 moan the baguette I felt wasn't cooked if not it needed warming through.....

So welcoming especially to my dog! The food was lovely and plenty of it. Beer was good too! We will be back.

Visited yesterday. Disappointing , The Yorkshire Rose is a Nice pub, centrally located in Skipton, party of 6 eating, after waiting approx 45 minutes, 4 of our party left half of their meals as the food was not up to usual standard. Tactfully brought to attention of the owners daughter who whilst being apologetic, proceeded to take the full amount of the bill after seeing all the uneaten food. I feel that as a token gesture, a percentage of the bill should have been deducted. Sadly I would be unlikely to visit again.
