Young Advisors are young people typically aged between 15 and 25, who show community leaders and decision makers how to best engage young people
Young Advisors Description
The Young Advisors Charity works to train and oversee the national Young Advisors network. The charity trains young people between 15 and 24 to work in their neighbourhoods and communities as young experts.
Young people know a lot about their community and how services could be improved. We have teams all across the country, with hundreds of Young Advisors active at any one time.
The charity is governed by a board of trustees of which at least half are under the age of 25. The charity was the first in the England to gain permission from the Charity Commission to have trustees under 18.
Our current chair is Mike Collins, and our Chief Exec is Gary Buxton.
