I am a classically trained natural light and studio photographer who also has over 15 years’ experience in the advertising industry. While initially focussed on family and children portraits, I fell in love with dance photography by chance and now treasure every minute.

This love of dance and movement most likely comes from my creative background and testimonials received kindly suggest that I produce very natural, elegant dance photographs which create identity and branding for my clients

My work is split between working with dancers and dance schools. For the former we work to build a portfolio of images which are an essential part of self-presentation for an artist to increase visibility suitable for audition submission. Secondly, for the dance schools, we produce a series of product images which are used for publicity purposes prior to the show opening and for social media coverage. We also cover theatre shots of the dress rehearsal and /or the live show performances.

I believe my clients have always been delighted with the quality of their photographs and the level of professionalism and service I give; this would be evidenced by the number of repeat bookings I get from those I have worked with to date, and as the number and diversity of dancer and dance school increases my understanding of “dance” gets stronger and this in turn ensures I have the knowledge to identify and execute the “right” shots that bring those perfect results
