Young People First; Talk-Active

Supporting young people with learning difficulties to develop key skills and knowledge around 6 areas of life. We run workshops and activities at our offices and out and about in the community.

Young People First: Access All Areas is a project funded by Children In Need in Cumbria.

We support young people with learning difficulties age 10-18 to: get more confidence, feel more included and to be able to express their views. The project works together with organisations, youth groups, schools and individuals to get young people involved in new activities.

As a group, the young people will take part in a range of activities in their local areas that they may not have tried before. Together, the group will quickly evaluate their experiences. We will work with organisations to make any changes that will help make them more accessible.
