I had to write and tell you about my experience with your company and in particular with Sarahlouise.
... I had planned a short register office do with my long term partner.. informal, drop in at lunchtime.. go back to work but the hardest thing was to find a suitable outfit that wasn't too over the top, but was suitable for our very private celebration. I did the usual trawl of the internet and went from Cinderella to Frida Kahlo before deciding on a saree which I ordered online a few months ago. I had decided that was the best option..and was happy until it arrived. It was not quite as lovely as described and I was left feeling really deflated.
I came into your shop by chance one day without an appointment and met Sarahlouise. She was so lovely and spent time trying to understand what I wanted but really, I didn't have a clue. I tried on a nice dress but wasn't overawed with how I looked in it (curvy and only 5'1''). Some weeks passed and my friend Vicki, who got her dress from you for her wedding in Sicily a few years ago, convinced me to make an appointment and have a proper consultation with your company, which took place last week. I met Sarahlouise again and she remembered me. She really put me at ease and was warm and welcoming. I can honestly say that I didn't expect to find anything. As I set out with my three wishes, I picked dresses that I thought would look okay but tried them on and found that I didn't look the way I wanted to in any of them. I decided to give up, but Sarahlouise went to find something for me. She came back with a beautiful RitaMae 50s tea dress that I had seen on the rail but discarded as too small for me. When she helped me into the dress, I fell in love with it... it is totally over the top for a small, intimate ceremony and I do remind myself of a holy communion bride (ūüėĚ) but it is perfect! Because of that dress, the simple ceremony is now a full on celebration which I am really looking forward to! That would not have happened without Sarahlouise's calm, supportive and so positive response. So often we fall for the sales patter, but this was a genuine interaction with a professional whose customer services is second to none. I can't thank you enough‚ÄĚ

Wow! I've had such a great experience at Your Wedding Shop. First went in last week with my bridesmaids with little idea what I was after. Libby was great at picking out styles that suited me based on what I'd initially chosen, that had all the aspects I liked. I found the one! And today I went in and showed my mom! So many beautiful dresses, such a lovely shop and really nice staff. No one was pushy and it made me feel really at ease. I would definitely recommend them, thank you for everything ÔŅĹ

Went today after having already brought a dress but had doubts. My maid of honour pushed me to try on more and booked an appointment for me. Got to say they were fantastic, Kirstie looked after us and was very lovely, she made me feel completely relaxed. I choose three dresses and found the one, I got all the feeling that your meant to get and again Kirstie was fantastic and I would highly recommend a visit.

My consultant Flo was fab; listened to what I liked and didn't like, very positive and practical, spent a lot of time returning to the rails to get me different dresses that suited and accessories - nothing was too much for her! Great place for someone who doesn't know what style of dress to get. Flo picked dresses within my budget and didn't try to push expensive dresses - plenty under £1000. Today I finally said "YES" to the dress!



I arrived at the shop for my appointment and was met at the door by my consultant Gill. Instantly i felt at ease. I had only visited 1 shop prior to this appointment and did not enjoy the experience at all and found the whole thing quite stressful being a curvier girl. I also had the added stress of my wedding being 10 weeks away. Your Wedding Shop has such an amazing varied collection of gowns. I did feel a little overwhelmed looking at them all hung up but Gill listened to what I was looking for and pulled a number of dresses for me to try. After trying the 1st dress I think I had found "the one" but we tried a number of others on to make sure. Not at any point did i feel any pressure from Gill and felt she was very patient with me and it was like I was talking with an old friend. I would definitely recommend "Your Wedding Shop" for future brides as their selection of stock is just stunning and their staff are so welcoming and prices are fab.

I had my own consultant called Kirstie who was absolutely amazing. She not only made me feel at ease but her honesty at what looked good and what didn't was brilliant. She knew the style i was after and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and beautiful. All the staff were lovely. Kirstie was easy to get along with and I was honoured to have her as my consultant. It really does surprise me seeing any reviews on here less than 5 stars! I arrived today, with only 8 weeks left until my wedding. I had been quite anxious about the whole 'wedding dress shopping experience' but really shouldn't have worried. I had been in touch with Jo a few times who instantly made an feel at ease - even via email. My consultant was Kirstie, who let me wander around at my own pace and select a few gowns I wanted to try. She then brought me a dress, which to be honest Wasn't what I thought I wanted at all, but how wrong was I? She clearly knew her stuff and it was perfect! The whole team who I met today were absolutely lovely and very professional! Keep doing what you're doing............and open one closer to home ÔŅĹ

I went to your wedding shop in Birmingham a week ago looking for ideas for my ideal wedding dress. I was looked after by a lovely lady called Flo. She was very helpful and I actually found the dress for my big day. There was lots of choice and I did not feel out of place being a plus size. My only criticism is that it would be a nice touch to have some sort of refreshments offered while there. All in all a very stress free experience. Well done team and thank you ÔŅĹÔŅĹ

I visited Your Wedding Shop Friday 23rd February and I found my wedding dress within half an hour of being there. It was my first wedding dress shop which I had visited and I felt like I didn't need to seek another. If I could rate higher than a 5* I definitely would. All the ladies were lovely and helpful. Miriam was the lady who helped me choose and try on my dress. Although I loved the one dress (which I decided on) she reassured me that I needed to try the other 2 on just so I knew the one I loved was for me. So many beautiful dresses to choose from and I can't wait to collect my dress for my wedding in November. Jo and the team made me,my mum and my sister in law feel so welcome and comfortable in the store. We was welcomed with croissants,cappuccino’s and fresh orange juice, you can’t get better than that.



This was the first shop I tried any dresses on,so I was quite nervous. Flo was my assistant and she was amazing,we designed a whole new gown together using dresses and different peices from the shop. ‚ÄėThanks Flo‚Äô

After I had picked 4 dresses Sarah-louise showed me to a large changing room, where I tried on the dresses and about 10 more! Sarah-louise's help, advice, patience and conversation helped me to completely enjoy the experience!!! I have my perfect dress and even better at a great price! I cannot recommend this shop for anyone who wants to buy a wedding dress! The choices are endless, the staff were amazing, overall a brilliant experience that will be part of my wedding memories for years to come!
