Wonderful xmas gift from my daughter Chloe and Tommy, food and wine was amazing... just one low point ! Nick very kindly phoned us a taxi but we cleared off without paying haha , think we need to get in touch

This has to be the best Chinese I've ever had. It was fathers day and we hadn't booked but they still managed to fit us in. We didn't feel rushed and the staff were great. I had the shredded chilli steak and could quite easily have eaten it again, it was that good. It was my first visit and won't be the last I'm sure.

The food was absolutely delicious & the cocktails were to. The only issue we found was the food came so quickly which is definitely better than waiting to long, however we had finished our starter & main within half an hour, it would have been nice to spend a bit more time there. All in all very impressed �

The bar area is very noisy, but we went to our table and the atmosphere was amazing. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was superb, but we could have benefited from having a finger bowl on the table. Charlie Yu is a brilliant chef and deserves a Michelin Star.

Really nice food and excellent service. Nice for a special occasion.

My first visit and not my last! 14 of us were looked after superbly last night....never had better tasting duck! The staff are courteous and very efficient....great service! See you soon!

Me and my other half booked a table for our anniversary and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The food was amazing and came out at just the right time with a brief break between courses. The wine was amazing and we stayed for a few cocktails at the bar afterwards. The service during our meal was brilliant and not once did we need to top up a drink as they were on hand to do it for us. Nick had a great chat with us over the bar and looked after us until the end of the evening and made our experience one to remember. We can’t recommend this place enough, and thanks again to Megan our server and Nick. Thanks guys for a great night!

Love it here! Second time we have come for our Christmas party. Food is delicious and moreish. The bar staff are brill and very friendly! Would recommend! 👍🏼

Incredible food, decent atmosphere apart from one table of ar53h0135, the staff were fed up but they kept themselves to them selves apart from the noise. Other than that the food was absloutely amazing, bill a tad high as you would expect with a bottle of prosecco and a few cocktails, but top notch so you don't mind paying the extra, although I think the 10%service charge is a bit cheeky, I had mine removed from the bill and tipped accordingly with cash

If you want to wow the mrs or just want some amazing food get to this place! Well worth every penny the food was so tasty, but above all the service was 5star! Not really one for leaving reviews, but i feel this is easily one of the best restaurants in the north west.

I've visited Yu and You numerous times over the years, it is always a pleasure to visit and I have yet to receive anything than excellent food and excellent service. The food is one of the finest in the area of any category, and for me amongst the best in the country when it comes to Chinese cuisine. You can also tell that this is a family business and this shows in the staff, they are always professional and friendly without being formulaic.



I'm disappointed to read the review below mine, I get the distinct impression that the person writing the review is not giving the full picture of their behaviour in the restaurant and I wouldn't give much weight to a review written by someone who highlights the amount they were trying to spend in the restaurant. As someone who has spent years in the trade, you don't get a behaviour allowance because of the size of your wallet.



Once again an excellent establishment that I will happily visit again, safe in the knowledge that I will receive exemplary service and high quality food. Go yourself and I'm sure you will agree.

Didn't know food like that existed. Absolutely amazing. Only point that I didn't like was the 10% discretionary service charge automatically added to the bill, i tip everywhere i eat (as long as i enjoyed the food) and this put me off leaving a tip as i find it quite cheeky.

Been wanting to visit for ages and it was definitely worth the wait. Food was amazing had the chefs taster menu and it was out of this world. Highly recommended and will definitely be visiting again

Last night tried the war tip dim sum for the first time- can't wait to come back for more!

Nice bar area, great selection of drinks.

Food was mostly good although the salt and pepper chicken wings were bland. Tried to tell the waitress but she walked off with the plates before we could finish the sentence! Salt and pepper chips great but only 6 were served. The curry was really delicious and a decent portion size. Service was prompt, however I always like the choice to leave my own tip rather than it be placed on the bill upfrount.



If I'm being honest the experience just didn't live up to the hype! You want wow with every course, not just nice.

I've had better and paid half the price. I wont be rushing back, which is a shame.

Sadly it Didn’t really live up to the hype. Table of 9 and had all pre ordered our food,Starters all came haphazardly one person had finished when the last one arrived . Same happened with mains, all the accompanying noodles chips n rice were on the table a good 5 minutes before the meals came,although they were good. Had to ask for fresh cutlery, waited ages for 2 coffees. Considering the service we had after spending around 400 pound in total I thought the 10% service charge a cheek really, so had that taken off -although the waiters were all very nice there just wasn’t enough of them or very efficient. I would try again maybe just as a couple because they can’t handle large groups.

Amazing food but terrible service! We arrived and we're left for over 5 minutes with no greeting from any staff. In the end we had to go and ask if we could sit at our table because nobody had even acknowledged that we had arrived. Half way through the meal I then ordered another drink that never showed up which is very frustrating. We were then charged a lovely 10% service charge when the service was absolutely terrible. Wouldn't revisit based on the service.

This is the message that I inboxed to Yu & You on Facebook messenger, and the fly reply they gave Me back, very very unprofessional, here goes:- My message 1st-I am absolutely disgusted with your manager, the rudest Man I have ever met in My Life, I have frequent this restaurant on a regular basis, and the cheek of your Manager was disgraceful, 1st of all he had the cheek to say to US "are you going to sing you order or do you want Me to take it" absolutely disgraceful, you are one of the leading restaurant in the area, and your front of house was shocking to us. When We are spending hundreds and hundreds of pounds in here, I can not believe it, and I am honestly gob smacked, sorry but I had to say something.

We will take your comments with "a pinch of salt" as Ivan not believe your comments about Steve the manager being the rudest man you've ever met.



I'm sure that you misunderstood his sense of humour as he is South African and, "have you ever met a nice South African?"
