The picture with lines running through & around the man are all your Nadi channels running throughout the body. We have 72,000 Nadiş which your prana flows.

🍁Morning everyone.
We’re nicely into autumn now 🍂🍁 As we change in seasons we change in dosha energy. Our primary dosha in autumn is our Vata energy 💫 Vata energy governs movement in the body along with activating our nervous system.
... Qualities of Vata: cold, dry, rough, light, changeable, irregular & movement. Elements: air & space
✨With Vata energy circulating during the autumn season, our minds and bodies can become overwhelmed & out of balance. During this time you may feel unsettled, unbalanced or unstable. As we can’t change the seasons & nature around us.......we can maintain internal balance by adapting our lifestyles to counter the dominance of Vata energy. ✨
We do this by using yoga poses, food & lifestyle choices that hold the opposite qualities of Vata energy 💫
Yoga poses: we’ll be focusing on breathing techniques along with twists as the two organs associated with the seasons fall is our lunges & large intestine. Also try and keep your yoga practice the same time and length each day.
Foods: Try to eat your three main meals a day preferably as the same time everyday. - eating lots of warm soups 🥣 - Avoid raw veg and salads 🥒 - Drink ginger or cinnamon tea 🍵 - Eat root vegetables to stay ground to earth 🥔🥕 - Bitter tastes are calming to Vata 🥦
Lifestyle choices: - lights out before 10pm get your 8 hours sleep in - Consist of regular moderate exercise. Create warmth & movement in the body to keep the nervous system in check. ( this can have a positive affect on any mental health ) - Apply oils to the skin - Commit the regular meditation - Practice nostril 👃 breathing ⬅️⬅️⬅️ we will be practicing this technique in class over the next month
October month: I’m not running the class on Wednesday 31st so they’ll only be 4 Wednesdays in the month. Anyone paying monthly it’s only £28 for October. If your pay as you go normal price £10. Either cash or bank transfer which ever is easiest for you.

Block payment - £6 a class ... Up front payment at the start of every month. Pay for four or five weeks (depending on how many Wednesdays there are in that month) This will grantee your space on the class every week and committing to every class.

Last nights yoga 🧘‍♀️ We focused on opening the throat chakra.
A few poses covered ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ Camel 🐪 pose, Shoulder stand & Fish 🐟 pose. Proud of both classes for doing what they could and trying out new postures. We also went pretty daring using lion breathe, realising anger and stress. Again well done everyone for trying out new things and pushing yourselves.
I definitely needed ground last night so thank you everyone who came you grounded me for the rest of my week 🙏💜✨

I'm currently in training with Zara to help prepare me for a triathlon and also to help me improve strength with a goal towards holding handstand off the wall. Her sessions are always fun, informative and I always leave on such a high!! Her massages are also incredible! Can't recommend her enough! �

I have always tried to stay fairly fit but after 4 months with zara I feel a lot stronger and motivated to stay in better shape. Sessions are hard but fun.

I had a great long overdue sports massage with Zara today at Graceful Beauty. I am a fitness instructor and needed an MOT - I certainly got that. Beautiful room and Zara was really friendly. She certainly set me on the right path to a more mobile me! Thanks Zara - I will be coming again.

I came to see Zara after surgery on a full Achilles rupture. Through a series of deep massages Zara was able to sooth the hard scar tissue under the skin and promote a lot more flexibility which was important for me wanting to compete in a bodybuilding show, build muscle back in my calf and return to Rugby, all within 8 months! One of Zara’s strengths is her patient after care. She follows up on your progress, uses her PT skills to compile take home stretch and exercises plan. After working with Zara, I am now returning to sport with full confidence.

Had my first massage with Zara today. I can't rate her service enough! She was extremely vigorous, friendly and made me feel very welcome. I will be back again very soon. Thank you! I'm sure I will feel it tomorrow
