Providing corporate relaxation and meditation sessions for staff! Zensation aims to naturally relieve stress levels for improved health and well-being.

The concept of Zensation Ltd was born from the need for leisure and wellbeing activities in the rural areas of Pendle and the Ribble Valley. Research conducted over recent years, by the local councils, has revealed the desire for more accessible services for residents in the more rural locations. As a result of these findings, and using a combination of both mine and my mother’s expertise, the seeds were sown and the concept began to grow. Zensation Ltd aims to not only provide a community service aimed at increasing wellbeing but also, to reach members of the community who may otherwise be unable to access the services we offer.

Born and bred in Pendle, Lancashire I have always felt privileged to live in the beautiful English countryside. As a child I loved visiting the villages in and around Pendle and will forever think of Pendle Hill as an image of beauty and happiness. These childhood memories provide comfort and happiness to me. It is this that has inspired my desire to give something back to the residents within such rural areas.

My degree in Neuropsychology has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the effects of stress and isolation on health and wellbeing. Following my degree I began to research the local areas to discover a way that I could apply my research and understanding to the benefit of local residents’ well being, whilst simultaneously, alleviating growing pressures on the NHS of patients with stress or isolation related concerns.
